Meetings for field service are not meetings. Who are they trying to kid. Most times very few people show up and then its a rehash of the magazine presentation that was usually already done at the mid week meeting. They try to spiritualize everything and anything.

Why the Clean out of top Management
by Poztate init has been commented here that "soon" the do's will be history.
the co level will be "retired" at age 70 and the latest development was that the cobe can not serve after age 80. it would seem that there is a "cull" of top management.
in secular companys that would signal a radical change of directions ???.

I hope that this trend of retiring DO.s and CO.s trickles down to the local congregation. It would sure be nice if they would allow senior jws the choice of not going in service anymore. My heart goes out to all the older jws who feel obligated to put in their time month after month regardless of their ill-health and frail constitution. -

this is due that many in usa and canada leave home to leave on campus.
it was mentioned that many young european jw attend universities and its not frowned on.. i found this odd because i heard what morris and losch said about education in italy.

I was reading on a European ex jw forum where some feel that watchtower's railing against higher education is primarily for North America issue. This is due that many in USA and Canada leave home to leave on campus. It was mentioned that many young european jw attend universities and its not frowned on.
I found this odd because I heard what Morris and Losch said about education in Italy. I don't believe its just a worry about kids living on campus as much as a worry that once they go to university watchtower loses its grip on them.
Any thoughts?

I hope that lots of dubs watch this production. I have heard many witnesses that feel that the prohibition on education is a local thing. Now they will get to see that it's systemic and the'll get to hear it from the horses' mouth.
Tony Morris you have just given yourself a little more rope to hang yourself with!
So Brumley gets sent to get a law degree 30 years ago . He has used his education from the enemy for 30 years and now he decides that it was a bad idea? Idiot! Why did the society continue to sent people to law school after Brumleys disastrous experience?
If this production doesn't spell cult I don' t what would.
