Died Due To Refusing Blood Transfusion

well, last monday my mother, a jehovah's witness since her baptism in 1968 died last week because she would not accept a blood transfusion.

she was 76 and had lung and skin cancer.

i know that the cancer would have gotten her anyway, but she was bleeding internally, and was told that she needs a blood transfusion, as her blood count went all the way down to 3.2 (should be 12-14.

The Italian branch committee that was either asked to leave or was disfellowshipped was Valter Farneti. There was some controversy with him about 2002. I remember meeting him at the Georgetown assembly hall years and years ago.

i was reading in another forum, that a letter to the elders instructed them to speak to anybody who persists in wearing tight pants.

if changes don't happen then the instructions are to disqualify him from being a publisher but it won't be announced to the congregation.

i am am curious to see if this letter will surface.

I don't see being disqualified as a publisher as being in trouble.

@hoser, well if you a dub and your "privilege" to preach is taken away that becomes an issue. Now you are considered weak and bad association. Perhaps I could have used a more descriptive word.

I read the synopsis from the blog that that LaFrancia belongs. The Italian witnesses greatly anticipated the visit of Reno Kesk. It sounds that he didn't bring any earth shattering message. But as they say in Italian : tutto fumo niente arrosto. (all smoke but no roast). They were told to use their brains as its a gift from God. they were also told that rules are not necessary and that what is required is reasoning on principles.

There is nothing new under the watchtower sun.

Finding my mental condition getting worse not sure what to do?

i'm pretty sure i have ptsd because of this cult.

i now experience headaches pretty much daily and find myself poping excedrin migraine pills 3-4 a day.

also i'm drinking alcohol a bit to take the edge off.

I feel bad for you. Migranes are unbearable. I hope you can get some relief. How about making an appointment with your family doctor and discuss it with him. You may benefit from some therapy.
