  If the WT is a "money making machine"...who gets the money?

  i've seen claims over the years that wt is in the real estate, book publishing business and is a for profit enterprise at it's core.. can those of you that believe this to be the case tell me who benefits from all this wealth?.

  the governing body lives in relatively humble conditions no?.

  i've been curious about this for a while.

  It may be that the SOME members of older governing body were pretty modest. But I don't believe for one minute that the present group is either modest or humble.

  i've been noticing lots of these pins on lapels.

  i could almost understand the jwdotorg pin because the new mantra is to go to the website.

  but why on earth are they sporting a building?

  I've been noticing lots of these pins on lapels. I could almost understand the jwdotorg pin because the new mantra is to go to the website. But why on earth are they sporting a building? What difference is there between wearing a pin of a watchtower and a pin of a cross?
  

  At least wearing a cross could remind a christian of christ--but a building??? isn't this idolatry?

  My first Christmas with my son

  after i left the jws, i began to live a normal and mentally healthy life (i'm still working on living a physically healthy one) .

  anyway, in 2011, i met the woman of my life and we have been together ever since.

  and now we have a beautiful son who will turn 1 in january.

  Aww those written reviews!! hadn't thought of them in years. I don't ever remember them being graded though. But I am not surprised that some over zelous over lord would go to that extent.

  So when there is a natural disaster, they don't want funds dedicated to help people in need , but now to build their Mecca, they are designating a separate box. Buildings are more important than people. Ipocrites!!
