  Set the record straight!

  i would like to state publicly, on this forum, i no longer hold the views i had a year ago.. with much thought, research, study and logical examination i have come to a better understanding of my beliefs and where i stand on all these issues.. i'm very happy to announce i have returned to healthful teaching of the holy scriptures and i firmly believe that the governing body of jehovah's witnesses is the faithful slave.. sorry if i have contibuted to any kind of stumbling and know that if i can turn things around then there's hope for all who come to there sence.. phill4:6,7.

  The "Jesus is Michael" teaching soon to go?

  could the teaching that jesus is michael the archangel, be soon to be discarded?

  first of all, watchtower is big on image and this is one of those teachings that paint the jw religion as being rather kooky and heretical.

  secondly, this teaching is not an original watchtower teaching but one they inherited from their second adventist ancestry.

  i was born into the elastic fact, tract & knock knock club, as it is known to some, but most often you will hear them referred to as "the worst thing i've ever been through.

  "i had the typical jw early life of forced compliance by sadistic joy killing narcissists.

  i learned early on that 'new light' doesn't come from stifled children and there was no suggestion box at my house.. when i was 6 my parents divorced and my mom quickly remarried and we moved from portland to the oregon coast.

  In the past, there were 3 and 4 releases but these have slowly dwindled. And realistically how much trash can they recycle.

  I believe this year there was only a new version or a book for kids.

  the governing body of jehovah's witnesses, known for its aggressive worldwide proselytizing efforts, stunned many of its 12-million members by declaring war this week on a los angeles denim and designer jeans organization that goes by the name “true religion.”.

  “as members of jehovah's one true religious faith we have no business of associating with any organization that claims to be jehovah's true religion!” a letter from the gb states.

  it was dated july 20.. in its opening salvo, the seven-member gb directed believers to not “shop at, buy, nor even wear” true religion's products.

  She's here and early! 27 weeks 1day.

  so as of july 2nd my wife delivered by c-section our little one pound, three ounce daughter izabella.

  it was a very scary night that started with a decel and turned into multiple decels that greatly concerned the doctors.

  by early morning they felt the need to take her for her safety.

  What is behind your choice of forum user name?

  just curious how we all think.. what prompted or influenced your choice of username for this forum?.

  there are some really amazing names, and it would be great to hear the stories behind them.... mine was nothing fancy.

  i just felt "stuck in a rut too" along with so many others.

  i have been gone for a while so i am back, but i don't know how often i am hanging around.

  i am more interested in apologizing though :).

  i have posted several times in the past about the necessity of spreading the word about ttatt in the spanish speaking world.

  Watchtower's motion as to retraxit, collateral estoppel, judicial estoppel and ratification is denied.

  I find it hard to understand legal terms, but the conclusion says it all. Watchtower wanted the case dismissed and it didn't happen. On to the next phase.
