90 years have passed since the last days of this system of things began in 1914.
I thought that they were getting away from the 1914 date.

when i picked up this copy of the wt, i couldn't believe what i saw in the two study articles.
the first one is entitled "our watchfulness takes on greater urgency" and the second article is "prove yourselves ready for jehovah's day".. i'm not going to go into these articles in depth, as that is blondies job!
but i will elaborate on a few points.. before i begin, let's consider a recent comment at the annual general meeting by bro barr, a gb member to put things into perspective:.

comments you will not hear at the 10-26-03 wt study
wt quotes will be in
he wrote: "whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well spoken of, whatever virtue there is and whatever praiseworthy thing there is, continue considering these things.
In all their talk about spiritual conversations they never encourage the flock to use their bibles to have some truly encouraging exchanges.
The spiritual conversations that I have ever been involved in were no more then how is the weather-type topics.
Most jw don't want to have spiritual conversations. In all the years of reg pioneering, I tried many times to have "spiritual conversations". I found that if you say to much they label you a "know-it-all". If you get too deep they say you have apostaste leanings.
Thanks blondie

today is a special day for my husband and i,it is our 47th wedding anniversary.it is special because ,up to this day we still very much united and still in love.we have had like many other our hard times.we got married in the catholic church,in venice, and thanks god we did not need the elder to tell us what to do with our selfs.
we always work out according to our necessity, and situations.
we always have been faithful to each other, honest and sincere as been and still our priority, perfect parents?
wonderful success story
Congratulations

is it me or....................do you think our children are being overwhelmed with all the extra homework they are recieving from school now?
i have 2 kids.
one being 15 and the other being 12. i just find that the homework load is so much, compared to when i went to school.i mean we are talking about at least 2 hours for my oldest son and 1-2 hours for the youngest.
Our provincial curriculum for grade and high school is very intense and quite sophisticated therefore
some has to come home.
I allow 1hour of homework a day. When the hour is up homework is put away.
So far it has worked.
