  this is the new book edited by edmund gruss.

  i just finished reading it and must say a one word description would be "disturbing".

  the book focuses of course on the characters and motivations of the first four presidents of the watchtower society.

  ) had a knock on the door and met two very polite jws who offered me a watchtower magazine(i think?

  ) and wanted me to read it.

  Jehovah's witnesses believe they have the ultimate "truth". Therefore only their literature is right. Everything else is considered part of false religion.

  Since you have accepted literature most likely you will be receiving another return visit.

  I am with you strawberry. I tend to enjoy solitude. I love people, but I don't find that I have to be around them all the time to be happy.

  What was your funniest/weirdest door to door experience?

  everybody's gottem.

  i know i can remember a few.

  once there this guy who came to the door who looked like a muscle man, very big and tough-guy looking and it put me off a bit.

  At one door a big burly guy asked if we wanted to see how big the scar from his recent operation was. My partner and I said sure. Well the guy turns around and pulls down his pants below his butt to reveal nice plump butt cheeks.

  We laughed for weeks.

  Breastfeeding

  when my son was first born, my husband did not want me to breastfeed.

  he said he would be embarassed, although i was all hip on doing it.

  unfortunately, i just caved in and fed my son a bottle.

  I nursed my son for over 14 months. It was a wonderful experience. Nothing obscene about it.

  I don't agree with women whipping their breasts out in public. But you can nurse in public and be very discreet about it. I never ran into problems.

  What Is The Stupidest Rule You've Encountered As a Witness?

  one rule that i never could understand is that if you were studying with an unbelieving husband, you could associate with him, even as couples, but if a person was considered a "weak" witness, it was best to avoid any association until that person changed......what dumb rule or belief comes to your mind??

  stupid rule #1: A woman can't wear pants with a zipper in the front.

  Stupid rule #2: You can't pray at the bookstudy if you are not wearing a jacket.
