yet another secretly recorded judicial committee hearing...the hero of this story is rachel... this brave and funny kiwi lady stands up to the local elders and goes through this scary situation with grace and logic and so much class!.

Too sick or injured but still made it to the meeting!

i once attended a two day special assembly with my gums bleeding after having 4 widom teeth pulled the day before.

i managed the two days by rinsing out my mouth all day long and placing cotton in my mouth.. one brother had back surgery the week before but attended a two day assembly by laying on a matress in the back of the assembly hall.

why he needed to be there i'll never understand!.

Yep! that was my family. We never missed meetings ever. My father would drag us to the meeting coughing and hacking with fever. Meetings were never to be missed.

I remember one sick sister who dragged herself to the Sunday meeting only to faint and fall in the isle. What was really sad --the bro giving the talk just kept on talking-the show had to go on.

just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

it was a cold winter evening i walked nervously towards the kingdom hall.

it was a day "special", the judicial committee had to decide whether i deserved to remain in his "holy organization".

many years of dedication to jehovah were not served at all ... in half an hour as it was obvious and predictable ... i was kicked out by the congregation did not need me most ... just like an old shoe.

No I am not really in Greenland. I should see about getting that out. But I don't believe I can do it myself. I should ask one of the moderators.

A number of years ago I gave out a little too much information here and was "discovered" by some local ex witnesses that could have gotten me in trouble hence the Greenland.
