i over heard this comment at a relatives family dinner the other night.
This is what always infuriated me---how they spin everything so that the blame is always away from them.
So if jehoavah's organization never stopped anyone from growing a beard, why did the male dubs get passed over for the 'privileges"? Why were they denied being able to pray in front of the congregation? Why where they brought to the back and given reproof? The hypocrisy is over the top . Please someone pass me a bucket, I feel a little throw up coming up my throat

My father could place hundreds of magazines a month. When the "circuit serpent" came around, my father was questioned. I guess the circuit serpent thought my father was making the numbers up. But he wasen't , he was seriously placing his own quota and everyone elses.
My dad is quite elderly now and he can't understand why his beloved organization has stopped printing all the lovely (not) magazines.

i remember back in the 80s almost every awake and watchtower magazine, think all, hade an article about how bad and evil catholic church was.

sunday is my 76th birthday and i know that you want to know how it "feels" to have outlived my usefulness, to have lost my natural beauty (being reduced to wrinkles and flab), and constantly walking into a room not knowing why i'm there.
you also are curious as to how i can continue to find a reason to live since none of my kids think my opinions have any possible value, most of my facebooks friends i wouldn't recognize if i tripped over them on my way into starbucks, and my monthly expenditure on bird treats exceeds u.s. spending on the military.
