tink and arrowstar,
I love it! Now any spies who have heard us use that rather unusual expression won't be able to pin us down.
Does this mean apostates also have a "holy language"? hahahaha

Last weekend I went to my very first male strip show. Considering that when I had my bachelorette party my only stipulation was that there NOT be a stripper, I didn't think I would enjoy it.
OH MY GOD!!!!! Those guys were gorgeous, had lucsious bodies, and totally turned me on! I actually BOUGHT two lap dances for myself!
So, sex????
OH HELL YES!!!!!!!
Happyout (who has very happy memories)
ps My husband was thrilled that I had a good time, and wanted to take advantage of my experience

I would feel a bit better about this if others were being arrested for the vile, dangerous stuff they put on the internet. As he mentioned, his site had a link to another site that gave instructions on making a bomb. Where are the owners of that site? And, heck yeah, the aryans and others have detailed sited that are very damaging, when are they going to be arrested?

WHY THE HELL DO I STILL FEEL GUILTY??!!
by Mary inok, i've known for a long time now that this is not "the one true religion", but i can't for the life of me, seem to make the final break.
i seldom go to meetings and am usually bored out of my mind when i do go, but for the life of me, after i've missed about 3 or 4 weeks i start feeling guilty about "missing meetings" and i'll go.
i'm really frustrated and angry with myself that i can't make the break, but in all honesty, there's still some people at the hall that i care about and i guess i'd miss them if i left completely.

Nope.
Sorry, but in my case, it took me four years of knowing I wanted to leave to actually get up the nerve to do it. So, I probably went through what you are going through while still attending on a regular basis.
Once I left, I let my family talk me into going to a couple of memorials, but instead of feeling guilty, I got angry. By the time I left, I was so angry at the fake love these people were showing me, hugging me and spouting crap like " I knew you'd be back" just irritated me terribly. I no longer go for any reason whatsoever.
I did miss a lot of my friends really badly at first. Making new friends helped some, but it's not like having someone you grew up with. Eventually, I got over it, but it took time.
I feel for you, Mary, I really do, and just hope you won't be hard on yourself. Getting out of a cult takes trememdous strength, and also time. Be patient with yourself.
Good luck,

Leslane,
Welcome (hugs Leslane tightly). I know it's hard to live under someone's rules when they go against your very being, and that's one of the many reasons I moved out of my parent's house. You have received great advice here, and just let me add one more thing: Please, try to always show respect for your parents. It will make you feel better, and possibly help their attitude when you do leave. I don't mean to imply that you haven't, I just wanted to remind you. When I left the WTS, one of the things that my mom said (after she started speaking to me again) was that she never would have suspected I didn't believe, because I was always so respectful of her. In the long run, it made it easier for her to accept my decision to leave, because I didn't do any of the teenage rebellious stuff, so she felt I really put a lot of thought into it, and went about it in a mature way.
So, good luck to you, you have found a wonderful place with a lot of great people who will help you all they can.

Gripe Sheet
by nicolaou inafter every flight, pilots fill out a form called a gripe sheet, which conveys to the mechanics any problems encountered with the aircraft during the flight that need repair or correction.
the mechanics read and correct the problem, and then respond in writing on the lower half of the form what remedial action was taken, and the pilot reviews the gripe sheets before the next flight.
never let it be said that ground crews and engineers lack a sense of humor.

Deep Down Inside, Are You Prejudiced???
by minimus inif you can be really honest with yourself, do you think that you exercise prejudice at times?
are you a person that makes disparaging remarks about certain groups because they are different from you?
if you feel that you're not a prejudiced person, do you see yourself stereotyping?

I know that sounds silly, but I really don't have any. Not about a group of people.
Ok, you know what, you're right. I think the KKK is a bunch of freakin' as*holes, and I hope they rot in hell.
