Kingdom Hall Spankings
by JH inmost meetings i went to, children were brought to the washrooms in the back to be disciplined.
often i could hear a child yell or cry due to the spanking given by the parent.
people in the hall would have that look on their face meaning that it was alright to discipline a child by spanking him.

both sexes! what is your favorite scent-cologne/aftershave/perfume?
by Ravyn ini have always loved perfumes and oils and i have quite a collection that i use as the mood strikes...but i am getting low on many of them and it is time to think about making that birthday gift list sooooooo... what do you wear and what do you like and why?.
my all-time innocent favorite is muguet des bois(lily of the valley)--reminds me of my youth and a cousin who gave it to me as a gift who is passed now.... but i also love the scent of lilac, usually in an oil.. my favorite perfumes are: obsession, rare rubies(avon), coty wild musk, revlon's fire and ice, white shoulders, sand and sable, ck's truth, (and also mesmerize, odyssey, foxfire, jasmine, raining violets, honeysuckle, lemon velvet, hawaiian white ginger--all old classic avon you can only find at flea markets or once a year in the book.).
but i need something new....i like the oriental/spicy blends, but not for all the time.

I know now that this sounds terrible but I remember sitting there with all my friends in stitches when some unruly kid got taken out for a good as you word it "Spanking". I feel so bad now I have read this thread.
Oh and over here in the UK I also remember the fits of hysterical laughter in the youth book @ the bookstudy when the word Spanking was used - Here in the UK spanking means the slapping of the hiney but in a sexual way !

Ireland is the most wonderfull place, have been there a few times and we are going back for our anniversary in July. No where is a problem there, you will absolutely love it.
The only place I would say to avoid is the Kingdom Hall.
When your in Dublin look for a place called Temple Bar, its a Bohemic part of town - very nice and also Trinity College (you cant miss it!) houses the book of kells. Galway is breathtaking alone !
Have a great time !!!!

Derogatory Term...HBH
by 95stormfront ini was recently over a relative's house when i heard one of their pioneer dub guest refer to one of her return visits as hbh.
i assumed that this was one of those visits where the person chose not to answer the door.
