  Most Awkward, Embarrassing, Comical things you Experienced as a Witness ?

  many of us i'm sure experienced embarrassing or comical moments as a witness.

  some things we'd rather just forget , i'm sure, but some things helped us think on our feet, quickly in helping others .

  here are a few of mine.

  Oh I remember another....

  Went to Ireland for a break, went out with the local congregation to do some of the 'untouched' areas. Witnessed to every house and farm in the village (about 10) who had all said 'NO' and then drove down a little country lane to try and find another house.

  Realised the road was getting more and more unsafe so decided to turn around....the back of the car went off the side of the road and was overhanging into a brook. The three of us had to walk back to the village to try and find help....re call on a couple of the doors where we managed to find a farmers wife who called her husband to come help. He brough down his tractor to pull us out, followed by 10 nosey workmen/neighbours who wanted to come along for the laugh!

  In the scheme of things, compared to everyone else, we are probably the closest here Scotsman, about 4 hours by car.....we need to find some more our side of the pond lol

  My best friend at the time farting in the middle of my talk in the school. I was laughing so hard I had to walk off in the middle of my bible reading! Going out in field service where my kids from my school lived and having them call out 'beeeeevaaaaan, dont knock at my door' ugh

  as a jw we were always told worldly people were bad always out for what they could get out of you.

  as for me iv'e made some good friends not anything as bad as the jw's said they woul'd be.

  No way! there were witnesses that were worse than some in the world. It took me a long time to learn how to deal with people who were non witness, and I got burned in the process, there are some nasty people out there, BUT there are people who have stood by me through a lot more than the witnesses ever did!

  Englishman - Love the Avatar, I hope you celebrated St Georges Day with pride. I am a bit worried about Mrs Nightwarrior, I tried e mailing but it started bouncing back, their phone became unobtainable and that was it ! - maybe I scared the hell outta them when we went to lunch !
