ok, this has probably been discussed before, but, how many here have tried the atkins diet?
did you have a good/bad experience with this diet.
the reason i ask is because i went to my doctor and my bp is way up.
I was going to try it but never got around to it. I was in the Police at the time and I remember one girl doing it and having to change her uniform for smaller sizes twice in quick sucession. I did the same but it was purley due to stress.
I was told by my Inspector though that she did not agree with it as someone she knew had done it and ended up in hospital.
mothers day can bring up many issues for some of us.
for some their mothers have passed away and the opportunity to say i love you in person is forever lost.. for others our mothers are lost to the borg.
in fact, we may never have had the opportunity to celebrate a mother's day with them.
Brought a tear to my eye too.
I miss my Mum terribly, she died suddenly in '98 and I dont think there is a day that goes by where I dont think of her in some way. Its funny because whenever I dream at night, no matter what I dream, Mum is still there. So much has happened since she died, I left the witnesses (Angers and saddens me, she didnt get that chance), I am settled in a strong relationship with our own home together, I have a really good job, with good prospects. There is so much I just wish she could see, I know she would of been hurt that I left but she would of come round and she would of loved my partner as my Dad does.
Sounds horrible and uncaring but I have not been back to the crematoriam since the funeral but I find it too painfull, I believe that Mum can see me somewhere and her way of telling me she is there is in my dreams.
Only one thing I can say is "Mum, I love you"

we think that we have a ghost in our house, nothing major just does little things at times, was just wondering if anyone has ever had anything happen to them ?

Dansk that is a cool story, I believe that there is some sort of maybe pshycic connection between close family members. When my Mum died, on the hour that she passed away me and my Sister looked at each other and we knew that it had happened,a little while later we recieved the news.
If you think about it how many times have you been at work and thought "Oh I must just e mail my partner" as you do you get one from them ? or you call someone and they say they were just thinking of you ? I recently heard someone say that if you standing there, washing the dishes and someone pops into your head and you cant relate it to the dish or whatever, then call them and say "What did you want ?" listen to the suprise in their voice as they say "I was just about to call you/write a note to call you etc"
