Ozzie-I totally respect you and your beliefs, but I have to say I have heard the contrary from many inside the borg. My best friend was physically abused by her JW dad, and when the elders were called to meet with her about "her behavior" she was told "If I had a daughter who acted like you, I'd beat them too!" I am not talking about spankings either, I am talking about beatings that landed her in the hospital.

A man is on his way home from work one afternoon in LA and he's stopped in traffic and thinks, "Wow, this traffic seems worse than usual, we're not even moving." "O.J. just found out the verdict, he's all depressed. He's lying down in the middle of the highway and he's threatening to douse himself in gasoline and light himself on fire. Honest Opinion, Please

i'm not very craftsy, but i have a thing about crocheting dishcloths.

it's a basket-weave design and i have mentioned in the past how it helps me to keep sane.

i have been suicidal lately and thought, why not send these dishcloths out to my friends and they will always have a little piece of me to be remembered by.

Don't ever take Christmas giving advice from a commercial. Their job is to sell stuff, so of course they want you to believe that no-one wants your homemade gifts. My aunt has never had much money, but she has given me something everyyear. Usually it's a little something from maybe the dollar store. Of course she doesn't have to buy me anything, but I know that I'm in her thoughts. It's never occured to me to be ungrateful to someone for giving me a gift. If it's from the heart, it's the best.

"Oh no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down, he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting late.

I wish scientists would come up with a way to make dogs a lot bigger, but with a smaller head. That way, they'd still be good as watchdogs, but they wouldn't eat as much.

What did Jesus REALLY look like?

what jesus looked like doesn't really matter to me... in a faith that is moved by his teachings and not his looks, however it doesn't stop to amaze me why organized religion has gone out of its way to make us think he was gorgeous.

the following scriptures plainly states that he was'nt even just "average" looking but maybe even deformed.maybe it is important what he looked like....important enough to put in the bible and important enough for man to twist it...no twist isn't the word...lie!
