I know exactly what it's like. At least four or five times a day I try to get away from this stupid site. But I have to keep coming back every ten minutes.

I think it's perfectly natural to ponder things about yourself that you could change. Having said that, I think real freedom comes from learning to love yourself, afterall it is the greatest love of all. And if by chance that special place, that youv'e been dreaming of, leads you to a lonely place, find your strength in love. Oh and one more thing I believe the children are our future. We should teach them well, and let them lead the way. We have to show them all the beauty they possess inside. Give them a sense of pride, to make it easier. We should let the childrens laughter, remind us how we use to be. I mean everybodies searching for a hero, people need someone to look up to. I never found anyone to fulfill my needs, and that's a pretty lonely place to be, but you know what? I learned to depend on me. I decided a long time ago that I would NEVER follow in anyones shadow. Just one more thought. If I fail, If I succeed at least I live as I believe. And you know what they can't take away my dignity.

Was the Ethiopian a proselyte
by sableindian ini've looked high and low through out the scriptures and can't find any proof that the ethiopian was a proselyte.
apollo was from alexandria...was he a proselyte?
now, of course, that would just mess up that key of the kingdom forte.

Would you accept blood?
by JH inwould you give blood if there was an urgent need for it?
and if you were the one who needed blood, would you accept it?

I think now they allow people to give some of their own blood or family mambers blood, so as not to contract a disease from someone else. I think this is all the more reason why people who know that they are healthy should give blood. Maybe if healthy people saw this as a duty to help human life out a bit, than blood wouldn't be in such shortages, and health facilities wouldn't have to pay for blood from the bottom of the barrel. Just a thought. I have a question though, sort of in connection. Do witnesses not eat rare steak?

I know there are many people her with different beliefs. I am a christian. Many of you may already know that I have family in the JW. Regardless of what your religious beliefs are I'm sure you can all sympathize with my desire to set them free. I'm gonna really go out on alimb, and approach the subject with her this weekend. I am armed with ammo from this sit, and all the tips I have gotten so far about staying calm and showing love above all. I am asking for prayer from those who believe, and for those who don't I guess encouragment. Either way, I am hoping to at least plant a seed. I'll let you all know how it goes. Thanks in advance for your prayers.

Hey Monster-How are you doing. IMO religion is bad, but that doesn't equal God is bad. Religion is man made, and God told us it is better to trust in him than man. The problem with religions or cults or whatever is that they usually mix just enough truth to be credible with a strange twisting of scripture and made made ideas. So you will find truth and doctrine that is correct in just about every religion. I am a christian and the thing is I do believe that one day I will be judged. I will have to answer for the things I did, with no elders, no org, no anybody behind me. I think churches are good for fellowship, and It's nice to have spiritual leaders that you could ask advice from if you need it. But those who want to offer unsolicited advice and root themselves in every aspect of your life should pay more attention to the verses about removing the plank from their own eye, before trying to pick the sliver from their brothers. The other big problem with religions like this, is that after they decieve people and teach them the wrong doctrine mixed with good doctrine, the dissenters often do have a hard time accepting anything different. I think we should all read our bibles and decided for ourselves if our teachings from church is in accordance. If it's not than we should move on from that church, not from God. I have a lot of doctrine issues with the JW's, but really my biggest prob with them is how they try to run everyones lives, and hold the organization beyond reproach. Their is no hiearchy in christianity, everyone is the same, and they should not be punished for independant thought.
