Way to go Dan. I'm trying to quit too. I no it sux. I have experienced everything you guys talk about. I am on Zyban too, it's so expensive though(as insurance won't pay for it) I guess they figure lung cancer is less expensive? Anyway hang in there. I wanted to ask everyone who has quit smoking, did you feel really crappy the first couple of weeks. I haven't had a cigerette in 2 wks and I feel more congested and am having a harder time breathing sometimes than when I was smoking. Please tell me this will go away.

I'm with Roybatty. It seems that on a strange belief scale, the mormons are definitly leading the pac. Having said that, some very nice mormon boys helped me and a friend move one time. Heavy stuff too like couches, they wouldn't even let us help. I would never hope to become a mormom, but it does seem that they have the charity thing down.

I know that Joelbear has been going through a rough time. I think we all know what that's like in one way or another. I never was a big Christina Aguilera fan, but her new song is so great. I want to send it out to anyone who needs to hear how special and beautiful you are, and especially as a hug for Joel. I think it will work if you cut and paste it in your address box. Please let me know if it doesn't work.

Well I can see what your saying rem, but I'm protestant and we don't have sacrements like the catholic church does nor do I know what the apostle creed is supposed to be. The protestants and catholics differed on just a few points of doctrine. Such as infant baptism. This would be a major deal for the catholics not to be able to practice seeing as how their religion teaches that a baby must be baptised for salvation. I can ask my teacher for any ideas she may have for info or websites on the subject. We were just learning about the catholic and protestant persecutions in class, so I figured she was a good person to ask. I don't have class again until Wed. nite. I will ask her then.

Latest JW Stats (2002)

one thing that just struck me:.

I think that a lot of catholics are just easy pickings for the jw's cause they are not encouraged to read their bible so much. It seems the majority of catholics rely heavily on church traditions. Just a thought.

I asked my History professor, and she said it was true. The catholics made up the twelve days of christmas to teach the catachism during a time of pursecution. Not sure if I spelled catachism right, I'm not catholic.
