Judge Bans Shunning
by Farkel intoday i spoke with a former jw i've been in touch with for several years and discovered what i think could be a major bombshell for the wts.
as we all know, shunning is the most powerful weapon the wt cult has over its members and for decades the wts has been able to get away with practicing it at their whim.
the us and other courts have permitted them to to use it, even though it destroys families and has ruined countless lives.

If the Watchtower had never been, then my brother would still be alive. I miss many that were close, who have perished, because of the influence of the org. My brother was a regular pioneer for several years, and had only a few months before he went to bethel. While working at the most popular mens clothing store in Melbourne Fla, the congregation overseer came into the mens store and accused him of being gay, just because he shared rent with another fella, who was a cook.
This event took place right in front of some of the most influential people in town, and my brother lost it right then and there. He walked out of the store, and we didnt see him again for about 4 years. Finally when he did return to Melbourne, some of the witnesses found out about it, and everybody wanted to be his savior. They harrassed him so much, that he moved to Georgia, but due to his lungs not being used to such cold weather, he died of lung failure. The org has done me no favors.

Being a JW has made me bitter
by mamashel inover the last year after leaving the organization, i have done much research and read many books on the topic of jw's.
i have found peace in the fact that i truely believe that it is a false religion and that i want nothing to do with it ever again.
my problem is that i have been through, like most of you alot of emotions such as fear, anger, stupidity, (that i could allow myself to get involved so deeply in something), and many other feelings too.

Remember that you are not alone. Even if you are by yourself, you have a family. We are family, all of us ,together helping and showing the most important fruitage of the spirit, (LOVE). Reaching out to others, when we ourselves are suffering. This is a quality Jesus displayed, and we have worn your shoes. If they persist after warning, then they have broken the law, and you have every right to do what ever you have to, in order to keep the peace.
Replace your bitterness, with the joy of being free of a cult that kills. Enjoy the countless variety of creations that are here for us all to enjoy. Be glad you are out from under a false organization. Dont do more damage to yourself, start to heal slowly, and get stronger with time. Place all of these things , and your heart in Gods hands, and he will not forsake you, or ever leave you.

14 Year old Anointed Martyr

To the person who offered their suggestions of the two problem theory, thank you for the reply. But keep in mind that not all were looked upon as anointed during that time. Those who were not white were not even permitted to partake of the volunteer service arrangement.

I could not help but to wonder, how a fourteen year old JW of today would feel if he/she were to attempt to partake of the Memorial Supper. Just what would, or could the congregation do in this case? They, would no doubt, set themself up as judges, and haul this person into the committee room. However, the fourteen year old of today, could refer the congregation elders to the Master index to Zions Watchtower, number 5921.
There we are told in a letter, that a fourteen year old brother was in prison, for refusing to go into the military. He was released for a short period of time, on the night of April 16th, not only to attend the Memorial supper, BUT TO PARTAKE OF THE MEMORIAL SUPPER. Remember, If he were not of the anointed, then there would have not been any need for others to come to the prison to celebrate the Memorial with him. The Memorial service had to be brought to him.How many fourteen year old brothers would be visited today, on Memorial night mind you, especially if they were in prison, unless THEY WERE OF THE ANOINTED.
Now lets take a moment , and just think of the circumstances, involved here. First, this fourteen year old martyr would have had to of been already accepted as an anointed one. Second, a brother or two would have had to of gone to the prison, with the emblems (bread&wine). Third, a request by these brothers to the prison officials, had to of been granted. Fourth, the entire Memorial Supper had to of been conducted with prayer, and approved by those brothers who were taking the lead. Also if there were any other of the anointed in their congregation, well they would have had to of approved of this action also.
This fourteen year old was considered to be a martyr. Which brings a host of questions to mind.
If it is the Holy Spirit that dwells in a person, which lets this person know whether they are of the anointed or not, then should not all JWs, be of the anointed?
Are the anointed of Jehovahs Witnesses assisted by Holy Spirit, and the Great Croud assisted by some other spirit? What if in this case, we were refering to a fourteen year old sister. would she feel safe as an anointed one in the congregation, knowing that 27,000 of them could be molesters?
All jws who find a listening ear in the ministry work, claim that it was the Holy Spirit that led them there. If a jw sees that there was a car accident up ahead in the road,they claim that the Holy Spirit saved him/her from this disaster. When a jw gets the job he/she really wanted, they claim that the Holy Spirit made conditions just right for the success. When a jw is looking for a mate, they claim that the Holy Spirit guided their mate to them.
So, if a jws life is so intertwined with Holy Spirit, then why are they allowing the Watchtower to seperate them, from a relationship that can only be known by the person himself or herself and God? Not to mention that if this fourteen year old brother, was classified as a martyr, then what about all of those down thru the centuries, who have died for the faith. Surely if someone were to start counting backwards, of all of those of past history, who died because the Holy Spirit was so strong within them, that they laid down their life for doing what was right, well we would all have to agree that the sum total would certainly be more than 144,000.
Today, I dont even think the emblems would be passed within ten feet of a fourteen year old person claiming to be of the anointed. Or even if the jws would allow the person in the kingdom hall. One thing is for sure though, The Holy Spirit is not partial. But since the Watchtower has placed its laws and regulations above even that of Gods, then only time will tell just how much longer they will be able to stand. Since the door was shut around 1930 or 1935, on the subject of the anointed, then anyone with such a strong feeling within them today, must have to hide this Holy Spirit within them. Or they must feel that there is something wrong with them. Can you imagine, a person having to hide the fact that they feel of the anointed, but can not reveal this blessing because the Watchtower denies them this honor? Even worse than this, is to seperate Gods people in any way at all. To classify anyone as having more or less of The Holy Spirit, than another, is placing oneself up as a God, and I guess the Watchtower has done just that.
They are very proud of their accomplishments. PRIDE IS BEFORE A FALL.

Hey everybody:
The Watchtower may have (requested) termination in October 2001, but their name still appears on the NGO database files. They are now classified under (F), in which the database I looked at classifies this as :Freedom and Liberation, as in religious freedom, and so forth. I was under the impression that the UN updated their files electronically. If this is true, then why does the name Jehovahs Witness still appear there. Go to: UIA Database Index Jehovah Witness. Scroll down the J list. Their name is still there. They also are still involved as a NGO in the Holocaust situation.

everone is in confusion

instead the people i have talked to her are all trying to tell me too see the light and get out of the organization.
in my opinion, not that it matters, i really think that if a person had the truth deeply ingrained in them, they would never leave the truth.

Printing /Jehovah Ain't Paying!

and manpower", "less personel and more savings".

I read the information you posted, and no matter what kind of dollar saving system they come up with, their actions say loud and clear, that they are paying at lot of law suits, and losing a lot of money. They are their own worst enemy.

His brag of public speaking, training others, literature responsibilities, and whatever else he claims, is listed at the end of his resume. We did notice however, that the dollar sign appeared at the front of his resume, as to what he feels he is worth.
Type in: resumes and the wtbts, His web will be one of the first you see. My question is, Why so many jobs in your history Donald? Isnt that a sign of being unstable?
