Provide us a letter from the Watchtower Society denying that they have never taken donations from Phillip Morris! You are wasting your time until you present us with some documentation! Proof!

We will be waiting for that letter from the Watchtower Society that you can scan for us here, and until you do, then your words are just nothing but hot air!

In any case, certainly the Society is not responsible for the Trust Settlor's business affairs or decisions

Not responsible? I beg to differ! From their own words, see the Watchtower/1983/Dec/1st/page-22/ which states, quote:

"Donations received by the Watch Tower Society are acknowledged by letter.

The watchtower knows (exactly) where those donations are coming from, and they correspond by (letter) for each donation!

Documentation! Where is it? Don't expect us to rely on (assumptions) and your (opinions)! We want to see documentation! Where is this documentation to back up your statements and claims?

We have provided documentation! You have not! Your case is weak without it!

We invite you to write to the Watchtower Society and post for us a letter denying that the Watchtower Society is not, or never has, received donations from Phillip Morris!

Remember, the Watchtower/1993/Feb/1st/page-30/ states, quote:

"Tobacco is, in its very name and associations, filthy, and?taking no heed of the harm it does?how can clean, pure, just, moral feelings and actions originate or be developed in the mind."

So are you expecting us to believe also, that the Watchtower is (not) associated, when their name appears as a beneficary of such a company?

We will expect that Watchtower letter just as soon as you can get it. OK!

Young Pioneer Sister desperate for assistance..any advice?

i have a son aged 19. he's a bit of a handsome devil at the best of times and the young ladies have always been ... how can i put it nicely.... fond of him.

but having said that he's always very friendly with everyone.

we used to go to a congregation a few miles from where we live now when he was a tiny child and he was friendly with the kids there.

candidlynuts is absolutely right only in my opinion. Let her make her own decisions, and see where things go from there, and try to be supportive.

In most cases, if she put up Christmas decorations, then her family won't be putting up with that for long. They have probably (already) reported her to the other elders. I hope things work out for the two of them.

Watchtower floaters

reading hollys post made me think of this one.

i was wondering who all has left the org.

and then in time due to whatever circumstances(guilt,indoctrination,family,elder pressure,etc.

I have known of a few who left the organization for 6 months or a year, and went back. But when they got back, no matter how hard they tried to progress, they were always (judged) on their (past), and not what they were doing at that particular time.

They always felt like they were on probation or something of the like. They always felt not really accepted, except to turn in time. They were never invited over to other witnesses homes for dinner. They were made to feel un-welcome in certain car groups. They were rarely called upon to give answers at the meetings.

Finally after breaking their backs to make some progress, they were left with only weakness, that caused them to leave again. Very sad!

There is an old saying that many witnesses who left used to say, and that is quote: Jehovah will forgive, but Jehovah's Witnesses will not!

After 45 years in the organization, I saw this many--many times!

Hi Taylor! Please also copy this for your records. Just because the Watchtower disassociated themselves from the United Nations, this (does not) mean that they disassociated themsleves from some of their (other) Political memberships!

The Watchtower Society has been a member of the (Armenian National Committee of America) for several years, and are still listed as such. Current Status
England's Armenian community needs your help.

January 27th has been set aside by the British government as
Britain's first Holocaust Memorial Day.

The official purpose of this commemoration is to "promote education
and research about the Holocaust and other genocide... to make sure
that the lessons of such events are fully learnt."

As a matter of policy, however, our Government has chosen to exclude
any mention of the 1.5 million men, women and children killed in the
Armenian Genocide.

The reasons cited by the British Government for not including the
Armenian Genocide were that its mention would somehow detract from
the "contemporary relevance" of the commemoration and risk diluting
its message by including "too much history."

What You Can Do
Contact the Holocaust Memorial Day organizers, members of the
Steering Committee, and others involved in the planning of this
commemoration.

A sample letter that you can "cut and paste" is provided below,

Has Anyone Got Any Proof That The Society Monitors Apostate Web Sites?

i am extremely skeptical about this, yet people on this forum seem to talk about it as though it were a fact.

so has anyone got any actual concrete proof?

here are the reasons why i don't think they do:.

How do they know that the scriptures and references are given in full? Because they (monitor), thats how!

See (Kingdom Ministry/2002/page-8) which states, quote:
