  What Does Jesus Say About Paradise Earth?

  Didn't Jesus say to that other guy on the stake "you will be with me in paradise" or something like that?
  
  But yeah, the term "Paradise Earth" isn't in the bible. However, if you take a couple sentences from the bible and paste them together, you will get a nice string of scriptures that talk about Paradise Erf. And that is how you write a Watchtower article. (1 Corinthians 2:8, Numbers 6:5, Revelation 21:21, Song of Solomon 2:4)

  Boring bookstudy book...which one was the worst?

  i remember the old timers saying that the red babylon book was the hardest to understand.. in my memory, i'd have to say the isaiah books and daniel book were the most involved and boring.. the revelation book had gorgeous pictures in it (the writing was horribly boring), so i just looked at them, and i was 22 at the first study of it!.

  Worst was probably the Revelation book. The pictures are really cool, but on the third time, they're boring to look at.

  How Many JW Terms Aren't in the Bible?

  the following youtube video made by a young person who is unbaptized and hopes to become a publisher says that the word "rapture" isn't in the bible.

  a comment on the video says that the words "disfellowship", and "god's organization" aren't in the bible either and that the name jehovah isn't written in the new testament aka greek scriptures.

  can we further enlighten this young person as to how many words jws typically use that aren't in the bible?

  An Average Apostate Day

  we all live mostly modest and normal lives, but dubs don't believe that.

  as many of you know, i've got a new job.

  quitting my old one is proving to be difficult.

  i gave my boss two weeks notice.

  That's exactly how I've been feeling about this whole thing. Everything is so controlling, everything is perfect, but the reality scares the shit out of me. The product that has been going out the door for the last few months has looked like crap or has been shipped incomplete. There are MAJOR problems with this place, and I don't wanna be on this sinking ship.
  
  StAnn, I was thinking about going that route. But nahh, he deserves to be pissed off after all the crap I've put up with here.
  
  BTW, I printed out 50 copies of that email and stuffed it into as many file folders as I could find in my filing cabinet and every binder that I have. The next new guy, and at least the new guy afterward should be able to find it to see what it's really like around here. Too bad I already deleted all the other "friendly" emails that I had, or else I would've printed those off too.
  
  People are going to find them, whether they be my replacement(s) or other employees learning how to do my job.
  
  Just like the Watchtower, the truth is what will hurt them the most.

  Here's another update...
  
  The boss came up to me and asked if I had made the phone call. I told him no. He then told me "I'm disappointed in you. I think we treated you pretty good. I'm very disappointed in you. Can you live with that?" He said it all in front of another co-worker.
  
  I'm all for not burning bridges, but he's the one who dropped the match.

  I think you're right.
  
  I may just help drag this stupid conversation along for the next week right up until my last day. He seems to like dragging things out, so that'll suit him well. It's always worked with my controlling parents, maybe it'll work for him.
  
  Oh yeah, remember that first email where he offered to phone my boss? Well, I'm printing out 30 copies or so, sticking them in every folder in my filing cabinet, every binder on my shelf, and letting the new guy figure out for himself if he wants to stay here (and maybe even the guy after him). That's my revenge :D
  
  Oh yeah, and there's a sticker on the bottom of my desk drawer that says "No Future"

  - "Nos, I feel exactly the opposite. By going back to Ron you are showing him that you assume ownership for your position within (company name). I firmly believe that he will admire your commitment to the employer who has provided you with gainful employment for the past decade. I understand the future is exciting for you and that you want to move forward as soon as possible but, let’s button things up here first and leave on a good note."
  
  Do you think it's time to forward the copy of the contract I signed when I started here? the one that says I only have to give two weeks notice? ;)
