US bethel could not produce them - so they were printed from 3 different "not JW-companies".
You mean I touched a worldly business card??? Ewww
i got one from my mother.
when the hell did they start doing this???.
i'm guessing this is the way they're going to do it eventually.

I'm guessing this is the way they're going to do it eventually. A card is much cheaper to print than a magazine. I wonder what the suggested donation price is for this piece of crap?
http://www.newsystemschool.org/.
anyone heard of this institution ?
has it been covered on the forum ?.
so i just watched the singing cart video.
i literally cannot describe how i felt watching that.. growing up as a jw was serious business.
we had to take the preaching work seriously, watch our conduct, give a good witness by our actions, and be on our best behaviour to ensure we made it through the great tribulation.. when i was a child, i had dreams of being a cartoonist.

When I was a child, I had dreams of being a cartoonist. I remember mentioning the idea of making a JW cartoon that would help preach the good news. The idea was shot down and I actually got scolded for it. Now they have that Sparlock and Caleb crap.
I once coloured and painted in my copy of "My Book of Bible Stories". I got a beating for defacing Jehovah's books. Now they have downloadable colouring pages and connect the dots activities.
I remember one particular assembly we had where some of the brothers were talking about giving a Kingdom Melody a rock beat and how wrong it was. Now we have songs about singing carts.
And yeah, the carts themselves. This is serving Jehovah with your whole heart? I can throw a bunch of literature on a cart and walk around with it. Does a recycling cart count?
And the whole JW broadcasting thing. After seeing Jimmy Swaggart crying on TV and having Oral Roberts beg for money, the last thing I thought I'd see is JW Television. But here it is.
I guess I always expected the JW religion to stay the same no-fun dictatorship that it was when I left. I never in my wildest dreams expected them to turn into a parody of themselves. Just when I thought I had dealt with most of the issues I had when I left, they create new ones that just screw with my mind. It's just like when I found out (years later) that they changed the Generation of 1914 teaching. Finding out they had changed it made me extremely angry for a long time. Now that they've become everything I thought was wrong and worldly, I'm blown away again. I just can't wrap my mind around it.
you must see the musical video at the end of this month program (aprox.
at 1:04:30).... i don't like to use "must" but this is wow... if you think they couldn't get any lower... just be prepared...
That cart is going to give me nightmares. It's going to start killing people like the tire in the movie "Rubber"
this was posted on a jw site and it would be nice if we could verify.. .. .. as of february 2015, the awake!
will come as a part of the watchtower public edition instead of as a separate magazine.
this is a huge change... with serious cost savings.
All that stands between separate WT and Awake "magazines" right now is a strip of glue down the middle.
I am still predicting they will be combined, but under the new name "JW.org magazine"
I'm guessing it will be something like "JW.ORG monthly" or something like that. Gotta make it look more mainstream. The name "Watchtower" has been tarnished over the last century.
does anyone have a picture of the food tickets we used to use at assemblies?.
.
.
I still have a bunch of the tickets. I'd have to dig them up.
What I noticed while watching that 55 minutes worth of crap... Nobody prayed. They beat the shit out of the daily text at the end, but nobody prayed.
who thought in the early months of 2012 that such a rebranding would take place in only a matter of 24 months?.
they managed to go from an antique looking and boring website (watchtower.org) with hardly any attractive content to go to a fresh looking new website with stuff for everyone, families, children, teenagers.. movies, and short videos about almost everything and new ones added every month.
cartoons, animation video's , interviews, picture activities all kind of projects, many audio files like dramatic bible readings, dramas and music, online research tools, new brochures for kids (off and online) etc.
The best thing they could do with this junk is get themselves some bandwidth on the Galaxy 19 satellite and fit in with all the other boring religious channels. After seeing all the changes they've made in such a short time, it's not all that far fetched
i've heard about his bombastic, overly patronising, cartoon-ish delivery before, but i'd never actually seen it...until now.
and i should add, this religion bears little to no relation to the one i left 6 years ago.. .
.
That dude aced Gestures in the TMS. For those who are flunking, take note... point your finger a lot!
Watching the rock video right now. If I stuck my clarinet in my arse, I could fart something catchier.
