  Canadian No Not Call List

  canada has a do not call list -- https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/.

  very easy to register.. i've had one busy telemarketer.

  sometimes the same one call on the same day.and many are machines instead of people so telling them to take me off their list is out of the question.

  I've been tempted to get an autodialer (or build one) and repeatedly call back those companies who have machines calling me.
  
  From what I've heard, the DNC list isn't all that well enforced.
  
  We have a company who keeps calling us to sell us children's books. We have purchased from them in the past and have cancelled. They still call us with offers. Next time they call, I'll be telling them my kid is dead.

  ") the 2 ladies came back to the door today, to give me the gift of a basket of fruit!

  they said they didn't want to leave a bad taste, and we can still love our neighbors!

  No More gum chewing

  we have this hounder in our hall who doesn't like people chewing gum in the hall.

  now i can understand kids but come on..... so he gets up there a few weeks ago and says:.

  "a brother told me that he was talking with a gb member, and the gb member said that chewing gum is rude".

  I chewed tons of gum at the hall. I had my suit coat pocket filled with little foil balls.
  
  My parents always used to let me choose the seats for the meeting. I always made it a point to sit in the same chairs. During the prayer, I would take the ball of gum out of my mouth, remove the plastic plug from one end of the chair, and let my gum roll down the hollow chair frame. Once both sides of the chair frame became filled with gum, I would switch where we sat and fill yet another chair with gum. I have no clue how many I filled, but it was quite a few. I even got caught once by some snotty sister "Those chair make great trash receptacles, don't they" and she gave me this look like she was king shit and I was a stupid bad association piece of dirt. Didn't stop me from filling the chairs though :)

  Isn't it a little bit early to start a SS thread? Usually they don't get started until November or so. Also, I have no clue if we're even going to have one this year with the immenent closing of JWD.

  problem is, in order to be in approved association there, i need to know the first song listed in the july kingdom ministry for the meeting beginning the week of july 28. .

  the site says only jws know this, so i was hoping one of you loyal brothers or sisters could help me out..
