  i know you all are hurting really bad and i wish from the bottom of my heart i could do something.

  my question is....if you know the borg is wrong and the wtbts is wrong then.........why do you still read and believe some of the stuff they write.???

  Stinky Pantz, It's good to hear you say you don't have faith in a Church, because I don't either. I have faith in the one who created us. I hope you don't believe we came from a bug or an ape, because you have been reading the wrong material. God loves us all and doesn't want any of us to perish, but all to come to repentance. That's why he gave his son, the supreme sacrifice for the remission of all our sins, if only we would believe. I understand you are really angry at God for letting all this happen to you, but it was satan that did all this. Now that you have been brought out from under all this suppression, I would think that, that was God's will. Now all you have to do is pray and ask him for guidance for you life. Please don't think I'm preaching to you because I'm not. I'm just trying to be your friend. I hope this somehow helps you. I will be praying for you everyday that you make the decision God would have you make. Take care and God bless you.

  Gold Morning, that was the most precious test testimony I've heard since I have been reading here. I'm sure after the millions of threads there is many more, but this is my first. It's good to know the HolySpirit is working in your life. Something that is so easy for some is so hard for others. This goes to show everybody that no matter where you're at you can ask for forgiveness and it will come. I will be praying for you and all on this board for strength to fight off the advances of satan. Take care.

  Sirona, It's not my intention to Judge you or any other person, that's Jesus's job. I can't say you are lost nor would I. Neither do I think you are stupid, on the other hand I think you are very, very smart for getting out. I feel for you all and what you have been through, and I just wanted to convey that there is life out there after the JW's which I'm sure you also know. Some how I just wanted to let you all know how happy a person can be worshipping Jesus in the right place. Again, my intention was not to judge or offend in any way.

  Well I didn't mean to sound so confusing. So I'll try to clarify if I can. I know that you all are hurting so deeply inside your souls from reading here for the past 2 months before signing in. I read, one thread where someone said that there are over 300 misquotes or made up scriptures in the New World Translation, and that you have to read the mags they print out in order to understand the Bible. So I was wondering if any of you all still read the NWT and WHY? I wish I knew a way to reach some of you and to tell you that Jesus really does really love you all, and wants you to worship him. Just because the JW's religion is what you have been associated with doesn't mean all churches are bad. I wish you all could go with me some Sunday and see all the fun we have in our little church. I don't have to do anything I don't want to at anytime. We do have fun and I wish I could think of something to say to comfort you all for the bad experiences you have gone through. The only thing is, just pray to JESUS and ask him to lead and guide you in where to go, and please don't get mixed up in anything where MAN starts telling you what and when you have to do something. I do pray for you good people that you won't think Jesus has let you down by what MAN has done to you by way of JW'S (cult). I have some good friends that are JW's and I wish that Jesus would open the door for me to talk to them after reading all the information on this board, maybe I could help them to see the light and not to wait on (brighter light) as taught by the JW's. Thanks again for listening.

My question is....IF you know the borg is wrong and the WTBTS is wrong then.........WHY do you still read and believe some of the stuff they write.??? Someone on another thread said that there were over 300 things misquoted in this translation, and I believe it. I have a NWT given to me by a JW friend and it's not worth reading. Especilly the quote of JOHN 1:1. Please you all said I could ask anything so this is my question, and again my intention is to not make anybody angry.

  The Last to be Resurrected :-(

  of course i know that many of you here do not believe in the bible and its promise of a resurrection.

  some of you do not even believe in a creator.

  but those of you apostates that still do believe in a resurrection back to life, you would no doubt agree that not everyone of those who are resurrected will come back to life all at once.

  If I could ask you ex JW's a question. It would be "Why do you still hang on to there interpretations of there bible. It has so many things taken out of context and you have been taught all these from the start, and you are now realizing they are false. Why don't you start reading out of the KJV or an other translation that most theologians prefer." I know that it is a translation too, but scholars say it is the closest to the orginal texts that we have. To get completly out of there way of thinking you need to try to do this for your own good and health. Paul talks about in 1 Thess 4:16-17 being caught up or todays language "rapture" is what most call it. It means the same thing. IT says for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be "caught up" together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. These verses means that those who believe and have trusted Jesus as there personal Savior and have died will rise first, and those that are believers and are alive at his coming will go next. Then if you go to Corinthians 15:51-52 Paul says Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

  The mystery he's talking about is the Corinthian people were kind of like the people in Thessalonica and they thought that if you had died before Jesus came back that you wouldn't get to go. Paul assured them that they would and would get to go FIRST.

  In a moment, in the twinkling of a eye, is so fast no one will be able to see it happen and those left behind will find out what the book of Rev says and means.

  My intention here is not to anger but to help people understand the real "truth" about Jesus, and to really experience Gods wonderful love.

  1 corinthians 9:16 was often quoted at us by every travelling overseer who wanted to exhort the congregation, and that verse says in part, "necessity is laid upon me.

  really woe is me if i did not declare the good news!".

  i have been reading the forums for some time, but have not posted til now, as it brings painful memories.. my experience with the jw's began in 1967, when my mother was killed in a car crash, and my father married a jw six months later.
