What piece of WT literature is worth holding onto, or have you kept? Why?

i have basically thrown away all of my bound volumes and loose wt and awake magazines.

i kept some bpoks, the insight to the scriptures, god's love, the reasoning book, and daniel's prophecies (this was my favorite) .

i held onto insight to the scriptures after reading some of ray franz's book, crisis of conscience.

The older ones go for a lot of $ on Ebay. Especially the Studies in the Scriptures. I've kept a 1908 Watchtower, interesting read to say the least

Martial Arts?

i have always had a love for martial arts (didn't know how to fight, just admire what the human body can do), but since jdub-land banned it, i just kinda forgot about it.

i admire nate quarry (an 'apostate' mma fighter) and i have been boxing for a year now.

i decided to switch over to muay thai.

You dont need an attorney. Send them a Notarized affidavit. A (PRIVATE CONTRACT). An unrebutted afidavit stands as truth in Law.

Rumor: April 3, 2015 start of Great Tribulation?

on another forum, somebody mentioned that there is a growing belief with those high up in watchtower hierarchy that the great tribulation will begin april 3, 2015. evidently, one has to check the skycharts for that date and compare with 33 ceand also compare with the history of jws for past 40, 80, 120 years.

dont ask me to verify the rumor...these things come and go.

im sure lots of people in hq believe all sorts of things.. .

What was going on after his death? NOTHING. He wasn't a real person. Research Astrotheology. Christianity is just Sun worship. And none of them even know it. It amazes me when people still believe biblical characters really lived. That book has MANY layers, and many "codes" hidden within. But a factual religious text, it is not

At least once a month I like to swing by a random jaydubs house and knock on their door with a bunch of unanswerable questions. I love gettin the whole family at once. Especially when the kids are there to watch their parents cowar down to some "worldy" guy who just showed up askin questions. I silence them every time, then leave with a huge smile. Open a can of worms, then leave. They never expect anyone to come to their house. Let alone come to their house and put them in their place right in front of their whole family. Great Stress Relief!

i cant believe how blissfully un-aware the local dubbies are about where the money has gone and what it is been used for.

Non-profit is just a word. It really doesn't change anything. You just use different words to descibe the same thing. I own a Non-profit, and I make PLENTY of profit. The NFL is also a non-profit. Just words. Doesn't change a thing. Like saying "DONATION" instead of "CHARGE". Im not gonna charge you $50 for this shirt, but you can have this shirt for a $50 donation. Changes the whole transaction. You can't pay a prostitute for sex, but you can make a donation for time spent. Its all about words, structure and language, thats all,

Why does god kill children?

i was thinking about all the accounts in the bible that indicate god kills children as a punishment or teaching experience.

1. kills all of egypts firstborn sons, who were innocent kids who did nothing to him or his people, who had no control over the decisions pharoah made.

how many times have you read that account or thought about it without realizing the devastating pain dealt to all those parents, and remembered those were innocent kids?.
