  The one in Deut. (I think) about worshipping the angels. They change the word to obeiscence but in the footnote it says in big letters WORSHIP. Its only in the big brown reference bible they have. They go silent every time I show them in their own bible

  Sarah I have very similar ideas to your own. I also find it interesting he died on Halloween, on a train. Some believe he was assassinated because he was veering off on his own beliefs.... just a theory though

  For those that think its a bunch of crap, let me ask you, Do you have a Birth Certificate? Do you have any clue what that symbolizes? Do your homework, because whether you believe anything or not is irrelevent, you are still part of their game, knowingly or unknowingly

  As for Icke, Im not saying I believe him or not, but who here has de-bunked/proven false anything that he says? Just because you don't like the sound of something, doesn't make it false. So if anybody says that someone else's ideas are crap and insane, please provide SPECIFIC examples of how you researched what they were saying, and provide supporting evidence of why it's wrong, instead of battling ideas for ideas

  My dad conducted the tower on sundays, and us kids were explicitly instructed that if we didn't give at least one comment during the study, we would get the belt when we got home, and not be allowed to have any recreation for the rest of the day. I remember my little brother in tears, as he tore through his mag at the end of the study if he waited too long or didn't get called on, in a full panic. Man, now that I look back, that was some serious mental anxiety for a kid to have to go through

  hook the reader into thinking he's got to give it his all and go out and sell these magazine in a whole souled fashion or else he will loose god's favor for being a slacker, as caleb's mom told her son:" god loves you(conditionally) if you obey him; and get rid of that plastic magic toy that makes jehovah get all sad and stuff".. russell was a self-righteous religious fanatic business man who went from the haberdashery business, to printing sermons and such, that hooked the poor and ignorant into serving him as the faithful slave/steward and selling his books and magazines, and everything he printed had a biased slant which would keep the business going even after he died.. kind of but not exactly a pyramind scheme;.

  I just read an article that said when Russell hired new employee's for the Wtower, he would make them write a resignation letter on the day they were hired, but leave the date blank. So at any given time, he could fill in the date and kick them to the curb

  Another theory, is that Russell was hired and funded by the Rothchilds to start their "One World Religion". Then towards the end of his life, he started to veer away from what they wanted, and started writing his own ideas. Then they had him assassinated on a train on Halloween.

  Leaving the Watchtower religion behind...are we ABLE to reconsider with FREEDOM what may NOT be "true?"

  as we all now know, once you leave the watchtower religion you are exposed to the possibility of education for the first time.. an ex-jw discovers that the theocratic lessons they have learned were not all they were led to believe , i.e.

  "accurate knowledge.".

  is this story actually true?
