  Anyone feeling the Memorial pressure?

  for those who are fading, do you feel the pressure building as the memorial approaches?

  family members who otherwise are busy with their own interests suddenly start paying more attention, dropping hints and holding their breath as it were.

  then there are the invitations.

  The only pressure I feel around the memorial is the pressure to make a statement at their one big event a year. A futile statement to be sure...but I'd love to just quietly picket on the public right of way...holding a sign....something about the WTS recommendation to fully research other religions...but not theirs....is their faith THAT weak?...I don't know...something like that. LOL

  You've rented a billboard in front of a KH. What would you put on it?

  if you could rent a bill board where you knew jehovah's witnesses would see it, what would you put on it to try to effectively reach them?

  and don't forget that lots of other people would see it to.

  maybe the regular joe would be able to develope some good questions from your ad too.

  Looking for a decent artist...

  i am trying to find someone who can draw decently...i want an aposto tattoo and i know what i want it to look like but completely and totally lack any artistic ability....none..zilch...zip.. any closet artists out there ?

  Yep...happy to go over all the details of what I am looking for but wanted to post to see if anyone was even interested first.

  Probably sounds silly but I'd rather put it over email so someone else isn't wearing my idea before I am. LOL

  I see it as monochrome...blacks and greys...but I am not against some limited color to make it POP

  Probably won't say "aposto" but some other word(s) to get the message across.

  Hi and thanks....

  I have a few tats already and Yes...I could get it drawn there but I work nights and the place is always packed so there is only 1 day a week that I can get into the shop...so if I don't show up with camera ready art so to speak then I would have to return to the shop 2 or 3 times to proof the work and then finally get it done.

  I just know there must be some artistically talented people on here that might like the chance to draw an anti jw piece of art...or that maybe already have something similar to what I'd like.

  Call me lazy.

  on saturday, july 8, i will be pushing my wheelchair in the 25th annual prouty challenge walk to raise money for cancer research at dartmouth college's norris cotton cancer center.

  16 years ago i became the only person, ever, to participate in a manual wheelchair by pushing over 25 miles.

  I will send this to the top occassionally until the event to give everyone a chance to see it. I know most of us don't have a lot of extra $$ but we all know someone who is either fighting cancer or who has lost the struggle. Please help me do all we can to work toward a cure !

  On Saturday, July 8, I will be pushing my wheelchair in the 25th Annual Prouty Challenge Walk to raise money for cancer research at Dartmouth College's Norris Cotton Cancer Center. 16 years ago I became the only person, EVER, to participate in a manual wheelchair by pushing over 25 miles. (Over rugged New England roads, including up and down tow HUGE hills). As my disability has progressed significantly in 16 years, I will only be pushing the 5K (3.1 mile) route this time.
  Unfortunately, we all know someone - a family member, friend, colleague, parent, child - who has been effected by this disease. Personally, I lost my grandparents, aunts and uncles and several dear friends to cancer. Truly, cancer does not discriminate.
  
  To participate in The Prouty, I've personally committed $$$ towards this great cause. It is my personal goal to raise as much money as I can for the event and I hope you can join in as every little bit helps ! You can sponsor me right now by clicking on the website listed below. All donations are welcome and US Donations are tax deductible. Donations need to be turned in by July 5.
  
  Money raised by The Prouty supports cancer research at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center. It's one of the best cancer facilities in the country and has been named one of only 39 Comprehensive Cancer Centers by the National Cancer Institute. Research conducted here helps cancer patients all over the world. If you'd like more information on the research done here, go to www.cancer.dartmouth.edu.
