  can you see yourself remarrying (or getting into another long-term defacto relationship) if your partner died?

  i'm not talking about the usual situation where people get divorced, but if your partner died, and you suddenly found yourself single again?.

  could you handle it emotionally?

  Seriously, it's a question one can't answer until it happens - which I pray never will as I've never been so happy. I've been married to Physio 25 years this year. I had a lousy childhood - fostered twice. Physio gave me a reason for living. I love her to bits!!!!!!

  I could never see myself marrying again and I know my kids wouldn't want me too, either.

  Physio says I'd never find anyone else who'd put up with me

  i heard on the radio that jack the ripper did his grisly murders in england in 1888. that seems so long ago.....yet 1888 is already 9 years after the watchtower first got published.!!!!

  I KNOW things aren't good at the moment - and even your beloved cat got sick. Please reconsider when you're feeling better. Just when the campaign gets started as well, we NEED everyone's support and there's no doubt you're a great asset.   Stephanus, so sorry! I had to take my beloved German Shepherd to be humanely put down. I don't know how I managed to get home - I was devastated and still can't get him out of my mind after more than a decade.

  a number of weeks ago i made a comment in one of my posts regarding the wts desire to control every aspect of its adherents lives including the most spontaneous of human emotions.

  i drew attention to the fact that jw's are even instructed how and when to smile.

  would this be true, it is of course evidence that the grip that the wts has on the average jw is at the deepest level of a persons psyche and subsequently presents dangers that are often not recognized even to the jw's themselves.. .
