IS THE WATCHTOWER GUILTY OF TREASON?
by Dansk inmy dictionary defines treason thus: the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to overthrow the sovereign or government.. queen elizabeth ii is the united kingdom's reigning monarch and she is also head of the anglican church.
now, as we all know, jws are forbidden to go to war to defend their country and they are also proud of the fact that their ministry includes presenting the watchtower and awake magazines.
the watchtower, especially, has frequently depicted various governments being overthrown by jesus and the jws believe that unless one becomes a jw one will die at armageddon - and that includes queen elizabeth ii, all her family and her uk government.. in other countries, monarchs, presidents, spiritual leaders and all their followers are threatened with complete annihilation.. surely, espousing such a message is tantamount to treason and, as far as i know, this law has never been repealed in the uk.

Why can't I just shut up about the JWs?

i have a pretty decent relationship with my jw mother who basically never says anything about religion one or the other.
well, i got into conversation with her about hindu music and how i really liked it (ravi shankar is awesome!).

The Borg would like us all to shut up, that way they could continue their vile escapades unchecked. Bradley, just think about the effect speaking out has had on others! If exJWs hadn't spoken out there wouldn't be this forum, the grave injustices meted out to Raymond Franz, Carl Olof Jonsson and countless thousands of others - especially the sexually abused - would never have been known. Physically and mentally injured souls would also have had to suffer in silence. As it is, their bravery has enlightened us all and WE'RE CALL THE BETTER FOR IT!

Proud of my Sister

as you are probably aware i have two sisters, one we will call the b*tch jw who is self righteous and feels that she has a one way ticket to everlasting life (but in the meantime will sponge off others and be nasty and selfish) and then the other one who is not a jw and is absolutely wonderfull.. well...............she has finished her demo tape this last week and i got my copy via e mail, she has written her own album and sung it all, she sounds wonderfull.
one of the songs is being forwarded to record agencies all over the uk and aus and she also has a audition on pop idol later this year.. i know this may not be of interest to you, but i just wanted to post this as i am so proud of her, i would love to post the song on here but due to a big fat (c) on it i cant and if made publically availiable who is gonna want to buy it if it is released.. anyway, ta for reading.

It's quite rare to find a Man U fan actually from Manchester
Absolute tosh - and a frequently worn-out comment! I've been supporting United as long as I can remember, lived opposite the ground and the lads and lasses I grew up with still support the Reds now. There's no doubting United's appeal to those living further afield - and can you blame them! The overwhelming bulk of regular United supporters were brought up and still live in and around the Manchester area.
Oh yes, success is sweet to savour!
