Not long.
I used to get my wife to write the talk for me.
She is a lot cleverer than I am.
several years ago, whenever i got a talk slip i would get really nervous but accept it and work on it almost immediately.
of course that was way back when i still believed it all.. now they gave me a #3 talk out of the blue about a month ago and i had forgotten all about it till the meeting night.
i really thought about not showing up at all but at the last minute, i decided to go.. so when i got there the meeting had already started and so i just stayed in the back looked at the info, found 2 scriptures and then without any notes i went up and gave the stupid talk!.

two days ago (december 22, 2012) a high speed train with a media contingent left beijing west rail station bound for guangzhou, 2298km away.
this is the latest section of china's high speed rail netweek and the longest high speed rail route in the world, with trains travelling at an average of 300 km/hour.
the first official passenger train left yesterday (23rd).. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-china-20829930.
Designs
I agree but British train manufactures have been closed down or sold off to foreign countries.
The rail systym has been privatised and the goverment cannot even get the tendering franchise right.
The last tender a couple of months ago for the West Coast main line was carried out wrongly and had to be scrapped costing the goverment
15 million pounds.
It is going to be rerun at even more expense.
The UK needs a better more efficent rail systym.
It would be great to see a modern service benefiting the rail traving public.
In the mean time other nationalities are investing in the railways and have a service to be proud of.

GREAT BRITAIN invented the railways and that is about as far as it went.
We have one of the worst unrealiabe overcrowded systyms in the world.
Whenever the goverment decide to make a new high speed line all the tree huggers come out of the woodwork and put a stop to it.

You are right. Here in the UK we have been getting them for years. I used to tell them to P*** O**.
They still kept calling. So now when they call I ask them to hang on for a minute then place the phone in front of the Television and let them listen to that. I
replace the hand set after half an hour.
I do not know how long they listen. But I find it is satsifying to do that.
for those who are interested, the november 2012 awake!
is now available for download online.. among items of possible interest are some of the latest examples of fear-mongering "armageddon art" on pages 12 and 14.... .
speaking of armageddon, you will be sad to hear that the criteria for surviving the great day of god's wrath just got a little more stringent.. there are a number of extra things in this month's awake!
I love my Prius.
Golden Delicious have no taste.
I think Cox's Orange Pippen are the one of the tastiest.
my parents could not afford any books.
we were all avid readers.
the public library was visited daily but many times we were stuck with no books to read.
I will have to dig out my old copy.
I have not looked at it for years
my oldest teenage daughter (15) is a publisher and goes to all meetings with her father (we divorced, he picks her up).
i try to get her more involved in school and to spend more time with friends outside the congregation.
i'm to the point where i'm going to simply forbid it and send her off to collage early!
A few weeks ago at our circuit assembly it was announced in baptism talk that a 9 year old was going to be baptised.
Everyone thought that was great. (Clapping)
I think not.
Not a good idea.
if you would like a copy, i have compiled the watchtower study editions (including simplified) pdf versions into a "bound volume".
