Bigmac, without a doubt, you're right. But it's losses like that which is the reason I've still got one foot in the door. I'm slowly fading, and thankfully as I fade away, my wife isn't nearly as zealous as she used to be. At some point, I'll share what I've been learning. So far I haven't been out in service this year; my wife has went two or three times. I haven't been to a congregation meeting in a month thanks to my wife being sick, and since she's been sick, she hasn't either. I'm thinking that pretty soon will be a good time to begin talking to her since we've both been away from the indoctrination for a bit (except for the RC last week).

What would be your favorite job if you could do anything.?
by new hope and happiness inon the basis that most of us realise the w.t wasnt really the best " job" or way to spend our days, it would be fun to find out what people would really have liked to have done with there lifes and if this is still possible.
or maybe its not even a very realistic ambition just a dream.
in my dreams i stay at home all day and make a living from being a professional artist.maybe i need a phycholgist?.

Realistically, I'd like to be a stunt car driver. I've always wanted to drive the hell out of a car without concern for tearing it up or the cost of repairs. I could see myself doing that for a living.

I'd lose my mom and my sister. My dad would probably be co-ercered into shunning me (to keep peace in the marriage), even though he isn't baptized. I'd lose my life-long best friend, and I'd lose my wife. In a nutshell, everyone I care about. It scares the hell out of me. That may not seem like much, but its everyone that I have. To me, its the type of loss nightmares are made of.

Thanks for posting this, and welcome to the board. We're glad to have you with us. I'm going to listen to this when I get home tonight. We always appreciate insight into how things go in the back room, especially me because I know I'll find myself there soon enough, in the same situation you just went through. Thanks, SG.

Elderly sister (married) says rumor is that RC talk says resurrected will be with thier mates! Poor thing.
by Wasanelder Once in87 year old sister (who's current husband, a total nazi one foot in the grave) was excited to relate that (she heard) a talk at the regional convention said a wife would be happy to meet her ressurected husband and grab him in her arms!
she reads that as reunion of the married kind.
she is pooping skittles she's so happy.

There was a demonstration at the NO Intl Convention that addressed this in a way. There were 5 young brothers sitting around visualizing what they wanted in paradise. One wanted to live on a beach. Another wanted to live in the mountains. Another wanted his own 100 acre botanical gardens. One of the brothers asked how could they be sure that they would get these things? Wouldn't it be assigned. The botanical gardens brother said that was his desire and that the bible says Jehovah will satisfy all the desires of the heart, so he was sure Jehovah would give that to him.
So..... according to that demonstration, if you desire to be with your past mate, Jehovah will provide it. If you desire to watch unicorns humping dolphins, Jehovah will provide it. If you want your own panda petting paradise, Jehovah will provide it. If you want a dozen virgins to de-virginalize, Jehovah will provide it. Anything your heart desires........

No clue, but I've always wanted to go to these directories and add jwfacts or some other "informational" website as the website for the KHs.

Resurrection talk at convention
by innerpeace ini didn't go to the convention but have family who did, all are going on about the resurrection talk, how there wasn't a dry eye in the arena.
and apparently a video was shown too on it.
we lost a family member some years back and they are on fb talking about the resurrection and new world coming soon.

I was there too. It was pure, unadulterated, emotional propaganda. They've know that once you are fully emotionaly in, all logic and reason falls by the wayside. Everyone's eyes in New Orleans were all glossed over. It was pitiful. I almost started to laugh because it was so ridiculous.
