What % of JW's would have a blood transfusion?

on the current thread about blood simon made an interesting point that the stats are skewed because we don't know how many jehovah's witnesses secretly accept blood.

what are your thoughts about how high this figure may be, and did you or anyone you found out about ever accept blood?.

as a side note.

Glad I never (so far) had to face the blood issue with or for my loved ones. I always thought I'd ok a transfusion and claim i caved under pressure. You know like Peter caved got forgiven and then got the keys to the kingdom.

How would elders react if I tell them that I would accept blood?

just recently i explained to my parents and my wife in detail, why i would accept blood or red, white blood cells, platelets or plasma in a medical emergency.

i showed them the inconsistencies and flaws about blood fractions and also the biblical reasons that show clearly that jehovah and jesus do not want a jehovah's witness to die because of that wrong doctrine.. my parents reacted surprised.

they are both about 50 years in the "truth.

Keep your valid belief to yourself. If you or yours ever need a blood transfusion, take it and 'repent' afterward. You'll be just fine that way even though you had a moment of 'temporary' weakness.

when i come accross these coined phrase like "theocratic school" i wonder if it really is time to live a theocracy on earth, and it it is not an exageration by gb to make people think they occupy a undisputable place in that theocracy where anybody who challenges them, challenges theos.. is the theocratic attitude on earth christian?

How about everytime a brother is introduced as a speaker at a DC, his 'unofficial' TITLE is specifically mentioned and how long he has been 'serving'?

How about everytme a GB member is introduced as a speaker it starts with. 'Governing Body member'?

Everything printed in the WT nowadays needs to be decoded. In print they may say one thing, but in practice its another thing. I always liked the CO's telling us to look at the illustrations and pictures in the WT as a 'guide line' for dress and grooming.

Ok, sisters-- only ankle length dresses from now on.
