Does that mean no more "overlapping" jackets or "invisible" pants?

my guy with the lurk account on jwtalk (where all the kool-aid drinking jws go to talk about how wonderful 'the twoof' is) sent me some more interesting threads, here's one:.
spoiler: starting new the new service year september.
"there will be new directives from the branch through the circuit overseer on dress and grooming that will disqualify one to be a congregation publisher.
Does that mean no more "overlapping" jackets or "invisible" pants?

i recently attended the rc for my area.
while there, i encountered a old family "friend" who recently lost her jw husband.
as the interaction proceeds she relates that her grand daughter, who's around my age (early twenties) has "left jehovah".
RC in Long Beach, CA this past weekend only 29 baptized of the 7,000+ in attendance. Everyone is waking up it seems.

i was appointed as an elder when i turned 30, 25 years ago.
which was the norm back then.. now, i very rarely here of a young man becoming an elder.
in our town we have 2 english congregations.
I was "appointed" when the elder de-rangement began in 1972 at the age of 23. Went to the 'all important' elders school for 2 weeks in April of 1973. We were told that the reason we were selected to attend the first "elder" school was because we would be the congregation PO's in 1975. LOL Average age in the class of 25 was 'bout 35-ish. whoa, holy chit!
we were ALL PUMPED FULL OF CHIT and had our young egos stroked for 2 weeks. Proud to say that I have 3 sons (youngest is 34) that are half-assed dubs and non have ever been ms's or elders. Hope that makes up for all the wasted years as an elder I gave the borg.
On a side note, Went to the RC this weekend in Long Beach, CA. (had to take my wife and 87 year old mom) Had 7,000+ on Saturday and only 29 got baptized. Yippee! Man these conventions are getting more and more superficial. Nothing of substance to appeal to our intellect only a BUNCH of videos to appeal to our emotions. Tugging on the heart strings not the brain cells. Even my die-hard mom noticed how fluffy the parts were.

james harrison is australian and is known as the man with the golden arm.
i've neither researched nor inquired of his religious disposition, but i feel safe assuming he's not now and never has been associated formally with the watchtower organization.
this man is a national treasure and hero of the first order.
I talked to a 'fellow' elder (I'm no longer and elder of course) about the subject of BLOOD donation. I told him how hypocritical jw's are when it comes to BLOOD donation. He, of course, took issue with my statement. So, I asked him how many times he has donated BLOOD. He, of course, said that he had never donated BLOOD.
So, I then asked him how many time he had been to the doctor or hospital and had BLOOD drawn in order to perform BLOOD tests for his medical condition? And then I followed that question with, "What happened to the BLOOD that was drawn from you for the BLOOD test?"
So, it's ok to DONATE BLOOD to help improve or diagnosis our own medical situation, but not to help OTHERS!
HYPOCRITES!

i just dont get it.
the gb moved to patterson and are conducting business from there, right?
they are not printing as much literature as they once were and they are still operating walkill for the magazines...er a ....pamphlets.
It tells me that the GB got the word from jehober that the big A was a long way off. No need to concentrate on preaching but rather on building new earthly possessions.
Literally, hundreds of thousands of hours being spent building not preaching.

recently, several comments have been made in various threads in reference to some of the recent changes to a few of the rules by which jehovah's witnesses must live their lives in unquestioning compliance.
the assertion has been made that these rules are a "relaxing" of previous restrictions.
the suggestion has been made that this somehow indicates a corresponding relaxing or loosening or lessening of the authority which the governing body (gb) holds over the rank and file (r&f) members of the religion.
I'd much rather have questions that can't be answered, than answers that can't be questioned!

i just wondered if the wtbts could legally remove the money from the congregation accounts with out the signees permission.
are the bank accounts deemed society property with the change of realestate ownership into the societies name.
legally could they get away with it if the situation arose , and if not how could they manipulate the situation so they could.
When I first heard of this "new and loving arrangement", I thought wtf? What's next? How soon and how will they ask the rank and file to provide access to their personal bank accounts? Why not ask? After all, having more than 3 months worth of 'necessity' money in the bank is a form of materialism and shows a complete lack of faith in Jehovah, does it not? "Please be assured brothers, Jehovah will provide for your richly." (as he has certainly done for us)
Remember (the fetcha-gramaton) those 5 modern English letters WTBTS (without the vowel sounds) is pronounced Cult!

if so would that not make matthew ch 17 vs 3 [transfiguration] a bit confusing to explain?
i mean, where did they come from?
the grave?
Don't worry, you are not the only one confused. When the gb meet together on Wednesdays, you can bet that those 7 men are not sure what the current wt teachings are. Not humanly possible to keep up with the ever changing wt bulls**t. But---
Isn't better to have questions that can't be answered--than--answers that can't be questioned!

I wonder;
In the ancient Hebrew language there were no vowels, only consonants and-------
YHWH is somehow pronounced Jehovah???
In the modern English language, if there were no vowels, would------
WTBTS be pronounced Cult!!!
