a bethelite was telling me that there are 83,000 theocratic facilities world wide.
he compared that to 35,000 mcdonalds and 21,000 starbucks roughly to show the size of the theocratic organization.
i am not sure where the 83,000 comes from what would he be counting?
Sounds like boasting to me.

blondies highlights from the 11-15-2015 wt study (september 15, 2015)(faith).
excellent general website: www.jwfacts.com .
wt publications http://www.a2z.org/wtarchive/archive.htm (old).
12 Do I murmur against appointed brothers in the congregation? When the Israelites focused on the bad report of the ten faithless spies, they began to murmur against Moses and Aaron.
Very valid comment Blondie
COMMENT: Wasn’t David appointed/anointed? What about those who saw his adultery and murder, should they have spoken up?
Don't speak up when we see shit being taught such as:
"overlapping generations", "blood fractions"

when i first left the watchtower organization in 2008, a flood of emotions came back to me.
betrayal, anger, resentment, deep depression from the relationships lost.
emotions seemed to guide my viewpoint of others as well.
The appeal and draw for me and my brothers was:
it was our mother's religion and we HAD to go or get our ass whipped.

the vast majority of deaths from the blood policy are undocumented because they are simply not newsworthy.
if you know of a death or serious injury/disability related to the blood policy, please help us document it.
send as many details as you can recall.
Heath Hodges was a terrific young brother in Hollister, CA. He died around 1998 or 1999. Official cause of death was Aplastic Anemia, a very rare blood disease, treatable only by bone marrow transplant and blood transfusion. He was about 19. His dad took Heath's death very hard especially after the nu lite "adjustments" regarding "blood fractions" were divinely revealed in 2000. Too late to help Heath.
Tragically about 8 years later, Heath's dad took his own life. I believe that the WT blood policy took both of their lives.

the wts has published over it's existence during the years a flood of books and magazines.
many of the content of this publications includes topics about the medical, social, history field and also counsel about life style.. the achilles heel of all these publications is, that they are written mainly by amateurs, without verification and validation.
most of it is worthless.
Just like the translation committee that wrote the new world translation of the bible. They have no viable credentials. They're amateurs!

i see years of acute economic crisis ahead for the w.t.
this is evident with letting go of " volunteer" bethalites throughout the world.
but my thread is on the consequences to the individual, and the organisation of letting " volunteer" bethalites go.. so what happens to the captive mind of the former bethalite when they are let go from bethel?
Good post Rebel! Bad reply 'truthseeker100'!
I'm with you Rebel. Beth-elites gave it their all only to be told; "via con Dios". What an empty feeling being 'dumped'.
Most of us here were once very 'captive' to the wtbts. Like myself, many here had "privileges" in the borg. It seemed to be such a very worthy pursuit to be "used" in the congregation or to be a Beth-elite.
Looking back now, we realize what a waste of valuable time spent on doing the bidding of an organization. I resent it and I believe that many of those dumped Beth-elites will also take a more realistic view of the borg knowing that that the were "used" alright!

sorry if this has been covered, but are they now counting time by linking to their website on instagram accounts of jws?.
i keep a casual stalk on my niece and nephew on insta, and have found links to all their local jw youth insta accounts, even their parents have accounts, it seems quite acceptable.
99% of them are private but every single one has a link to the website in their bio and a thing saying "jw" and often a scripture or god reference.
I don't have an Instagram account but my preaching is just like the "presence of Christ".

question: will husband and wife live together after the resurrection is completed, if both are in harmony with god?.
answer: the scriptures do not reveal what the relationship of men and women will be after the resurrection is completed.
the most that we know is that there will be no children born during the last 100 years of the millennium (isa.
There have been some well authenticated instances in which women have been transformed into men,
Was the wtbts talking about Hillary Clinton?

during the assembly they made an announcement about contributions and as always mentioned how expenses outnumbered the contributions so far and we are at a deficit of $6700 or so.
however, they then said that our money on hand in savings for the circuit was $51,000 and that they voted and will be sending $45,000 of it to the society.
who voted?
Our congregation (that I used to attend) has their SAD on Sunday. I'm going with my wife. I like attending the circuit assemblies because of all the people I've known for decades. I'll let you all know if anything is announced regarding money being sent to the borg from the circuit.

1) many who were on the destructive path have been transformed by their teachings (this includes me who was once vicious, and presumptuous and atheistic).
2) equal monthly pay to all members of the bethel community regardless of whether they are bc members or sweepers.
this is something that still remains as an unattainable dream for the world.
Jw's are not the problem. Most are very nice people. German people were not the problem in the WWII era either. Who gets people radicalized and fanatical?
Yep---that's the problem!
