  Encounter with J.W's at wittnessing kart.

  me-you allow pedophiles to go d2d and into peoples houses even when they have children.. j.w-no we don't.. me-the one that interfered with a relative of mine does and another i know who raped his sister does in fact he's an elder.. j.w-we cant stop them going d2d.. me- so now your saying they do go d2d you can't stop them,no you don't want to!.

  j.w-it happens in all religions.. me- so that justifies sending pedo's into strangers houses.how would you like it if a pedo came to your place and you didn't know.. j.w- it happened to my mother and if he came to my place it knock him out.. me - but you have no problem with anyone from your church going to peoples houses even if they are a pedo.. we argued around in circles with him saying the elders may not know and me saying well i told them and so did the victim and he admitted to it ,then i told him about the r.c in australia and he said that could be anyone claiming to be a j.w could be on the stand ( by this time he was getting desperate)the i said like jeffery jackson?.

  i told them to look it up on you tube.. i gave then the names and congro's the 2 pedo's are in and said i'd come back next week and see if they had checked it out.the lady's body language said she knew the elder that raped his sister as they are a well know family they were in the year book a few years ago.. stand by for next week.. karter.

  My still-in wife and I travel a lot since we've retired. I'm an early riser so I often get out for a walk-about when we visit new or different cities/towns. Took up a new 'hobby'. I've been using my cell phone to video the 'cart tenders' (aka jehober witlesses) so I can share them with my dear wife. So far, I have incriminating videos of them 1) sitting in the shade at least 100 feet from "the cart" which is in the sun (Huntington Beach, CA), 2) drinking hot coffee and chatting on a cold morning (Seattle, WA), 3) stepping away from "the cart" to chat on their cell phone (Palm Springs, CA), 4) texting while standing rigidly by "the cart" (Albuquerque, NM) and, 5) just silently standing there like they are soldiers at attention (San Jose, CA). At least they are all nicely dressed.

  fearlessly witnessing--jesus would be proud!

  bonnie is fourteen years old now and she's still fit and active, but she sleeps (and farts) a lot more and is definitely slowing down.. she loves us in her own dumb way and always comes to the door to greet me when i get home from work.

  she doesn't 'sin' but yeah, she'll steal biscuits and feel shame afterwards.

  she's loyal and intelligent and i dread the day when .

  a story, possibly a moving one, in just 6 words attributed to earnest hemingway.. it started a genre called "flash fiction" which is a memoir in six-words.. what would yours be?.

  this guy took over the exjw meetup.com group i follow and just sent out this email to all of us.to all members : i stepped in as an organizer to save the group in the hopes of connecting with other believers.

  it appears that after leaving jehovahs witnesses you all have given up your promise to spend the rest of your lives serving god.

  that now your free to just do whatever you want!

  Religulous Woke Me Up

  on there was a documentary called, "religulous".

  i watched it and that started my search.

  Bill makes many valid points in this mockumentary! Most notable to me was his way of leading us to the logical conclusion that "faith" requires no proof, no logic, no reason, and no common sense. I was a bit disappointed that he didn't include an interview with some active jw's and have them 'spane' some of the stupid jw doctrines but, it sort of illustrates how insignificant jw's really are in the big picture.

  the wtbts/ org dictates to its subservient followers what constitutes a bible truth/principle and what does not.

  example: it-1 p. 319 birthday - ".....there is no indication in the scriptures that faithful worshipers of jehovah ever indulged in the pagan practice of annually celebrating birthdays.

  the bible makes direct reference to only two birthday celebrations, those of pharaoh of egypt and herod antipas.

  i was present for the first bethel talk introducing the iron boot back into the field.

  i saw many 20-30 year people get reassigned to special pioneering.

  this year, most of them got the boot again and were encouraged to regular pioneer (back to back boots):) this week i received a called from some bethelites and guess where they are all being reassigned to.

  All of the recent 'knee jerk reaction' moves and changes by the borg has even 'long time loyalists' beginning to question the stability of the leadership! I hear it all the time from my 'still-in' friends and relatives and of course I always do my best to add fuel to the growing fire.

  Transfer of Bank Balances and Kingdom Halls.

  two things related to ongoing comments regarding forgiving of loans / transfer of balances to the wtbs and the ownership of kingdom halls.

  firstly, i would argue that congregations don't care that bank balances have been transferred to the society.

  i would contend that people contribute to the preaching work, and that's it , so long as there is enough in the bank to maintain the hall with a reasonable reserve, then i doubt many would argue against it.

  @stgeorgeofengland, OK, they use a custodian trustee mechanism, widely used by lots of charities.

  but why would the individual charities ever believe they own their own churches anyway?

  You make a valid point. The point of contention for most regarding this subject is the lack of transparency in the ownership of the KH's. Locals build them, maintain them, and pay for them and now locals will continue to pay, pay, pay for them. I don't think anyone has a problem with a monthly payment but at some time in the future if you are paying for something, you somehow expect to own it.

  Say it like it is, Local congregations of JW's are just leasing the building that they assume is THEIR local KH until the LEGAL owners (wtbts) decides to sell/remodel it and/or send the locals to another location!
