  So is it OK to lie to your employer about going to visit your sick mother when you are actually going to the RC knowing that your sick mother will be there also? After all there is a grain of "truth" in your statement. lol

  I especially love the WT quote from the 12/15/98 WT because if something 'miraculous' happens and a jw escapes harm---praise jah. But if a jw or a bunch of jw's perish--well

  In some cultures it is considered wrong for women to shave their pubic hair because it is a practice of prostitutes. Now that would make a very interesting WT article or "question from readers".

  Did the flood happen?

  so we were talking about noah for our family worship tonight and it ended with a little debate between me and my parents about how the flood was possible.

  you know, where did the water come from, how did all the animals fit, etc.

  of course it led nowhere and my parents came up with some strange theories like that there was "an expanse of water in the sky" and that's where all the water came from.

  watchtower literature, according to watchtower dogma, is not mere 'literature'... like any other literature from some "worldly" source, ...but rather it is "spiritual food" given by christ's appointed "slave" at "the proper time" and in fulfillment of bible prophecy.

  (matthew 24:45-47).
