  Just received a visit from 2 Elders

  the elders did not stay long and it wasn`t an official visit sanctioned by the boe/cobe because they were not from my (ex)congregation.

  we talked a little about my situation and the fact that my wife does not talk to me and how non-scriptural her behavior is.. then they mentioned the rc and how it was the best convention for the last 20 years.

  one thing they did mention was the fact that the borg was clearly preparing them for persecution.

  If anyone creates enough crap (like rutherford did) sure you're going to get negative attention. Persecution is a word used loosely to to hide the fact you are annoying and obnoxious.

  I can't believe that '2 elders' have not visited me yet. I went from elder to inactive in about 2 years. Me thinks that they may shy away because I was never one to follow the crowd in the boe meetings. I almost always had a contrary thought or 2 to get the elders to think about what the bible said and not what the fds said. When child baptism came up I always mentioned that the bible said NOTHING about children or even youths being baptized. Acts talked about both "men and women" being baptized after they had gone over exactly NO QUESTIONS in order to QUALIFY for baptism.

  Great summary again Blondie. I enjoyed everyone's comments as well. The depth of the writing committee is very shallow as we can see.

  Yea Sarah could have been a problem, unfit? (lol) if she had had an adulterous relationship and screwed up the lineage of Jesus, but David and Bathsheba not??? Solomon and his many sluts not??? Really stupid reasoning to say the least! (I mentioned this point to my uber duber wife and she just shrugged that it was jehober's decision.)

  Cowardly Abe pons off his wife twice as his sister and then gets her 2 suitors to pay him handsomely because jehober threatens them in a dream. Nice scam Abe!

  The guy looking at the laptop in paragraph 10 looks like James Gandolfini viewing an episode of The Sopranos or maybe a CO viewing the latest crap he is suppose to deliver in his service talks.

  A WT "prophecy" that finally came true?

  at long last, after 140 years of failed prophecies, it appears that the borg finally got one right!

  recall the odd little article published back in the november 15th, 2013 wt about the 7 shepherds 8 dukes (anti-type) and the evil assyrian (anti-type) and some silly nonsense about the assyrians attack on the vulnerable wtbts.

  page 20 paragraph 17 of that strange article contained this foreboding prophecy from the faithful and discreet slave, (anti-type);.

  Looks to me like Abraham and Sarah were great scam artists. As they wandered around in the ‘wilderness’, for whatever stupid reason they did so, they would likely run low on provisions, so good old Abraham pons his half-sister/wife off, first on Pharoah and then on Abimelech who both want to take Sarah for a wife. Well, in steps jehober to the rescue and both Pharoah and Abimelech are threatened by jehober. Both realize that they have been scammed. They then ‘give’ the Abraham/Sarah scam team a mother lode of sheep, cattle, donkeys, camels, male and female slaves, and Abimelech even throws in 1,000 pieces of silver.

  Moral of the story is; lying, deceit, scamming in the name of jehober pays off big time. Sort of like ‘theocratic warfare’ where anything goes. And, no wonder the Israelites were a bunch of nut cases. The ‘father and mother’ of the nation were in an incestuous relationship.

  Well, that time came less than a year later for jehober’s people to ‘receive direction from jehober’s ORGANIZATION that was NOT practical, was NOT sound, and was NOT strategic from a human standpoint’. And, we were “ready to obey ANY instructions” and we did (at least here in the USA)

  So how was this “not practical, not sound, not strategic prophecy” fulfilled?

  Dear Brothers,

  Please send us all your cash that’s in the congregation’s bank account, deed all kingdom halls to the borg, and send us a monthly tithe equal to the amount of your former kh ‘mortgage’ payment—for life.

  What Would Happen if the Watchtower Loses Their TAX EXEMPT STATUS?

  The name jehober was still mentioned twice as much as Jesus at the rc. It was absolutely the 'lamest' convention (video fest) I have ever attended. Even my 87 year old, uber-duber, die-hard, mom commented, "Where's the meat?" Had to laugh at that comment. We had that 'porky' little gb brother there in Long Beach, Sanderson. I think he even had a hard time trying to keep a straight face when he talked about what a "spiritual feast" we all enjoyed. 7,000+ attended---29 baptized. Man the growth is phenomenal!

  personally i think this is wonderful.

  i have nothing against gay people and wish them only the best.. but of course i'm in a minority of one, the jw's around me are posting away on fb the most homophobic vitriol imaginable.

  a lot of them are even saying that it's the start to armageddon!!.
