Does Jehovah need any protection?
I think we need to be protected from jehober. You never know what it is that will piss him off!

does jehovah need to be protected by a zealous scribe***** (masoretic text) or anyone else?
deuteronomy 32:8 is a textbook example of how later scribes sometimes changed the biblical text in a misguided attempt to “protect” god’s reputation.
deut 32:8, eliminates references to other divine beings (32:8, “sons of god”; 32:43, “heavenly ones” and “gods”).
I think we need to be protected from jehober. You never know what it is that will piss him off!

i had to look at jw broadcasting today (aaaargh) and noticed it has had a bit of a makeover.
it is also now called jehovah's witnesses broadcasting.. sf.
I often watch JW broadcasting to see what's happening in US politics. JW pops up in my email notifications and my wife gets very suspicious! Tom Fitton is the president of JW and so far he has not tried to explain "overlapping politics"!
protestants do not recognise or acknowledge the pope.
roman catholics do not recognise or acknowledge protestantism.
jehovah’s witness elders do not recognise or acknowledge each other when they bump into one another buying bottles of spirits at the off-licence on the way home from the meeting.
Lots of things that elders don't recognize. Elders are just like most jw's,--------just going through the motions. It's a mixture of sadness and happiness when I look back at my elder days. I am happy in my thinking that I really cared and tried to help but I'm sad in knowing that all the shit (the truth) I worked hard at teaching and trying to get others to believe is no longer 'the truth' taught by the wtbts. Thus; Recognition. A Joke!

and now it's 2018 and we are still here.
that's like saying back in 1930 the events of the civil war show we are in the last days!
it has now been that long!.
These do seem to be the "last daze" for the wt! I'm certainly happy that I'm no longer in a 'daze'!

move forward as a spiritual person.. paragraph 2 "robert and his wife began passing time by quizzing each other on bible subjects.
his wife, a spiritually strong person, had no problem answering the questions, but robert found himself constantly embarrassed, not knowing what to say.".
there is no indication of how she fits the template of a spiritual person other than she can answer bible trivia.
What I loved about that wt "study" at the kh was that the "answers" given during the one hour bore session were given by those that are barely hanging on. Most of the comments were read by the kids in the hall and the irregular pubs. I guess the truly "spiritual men and women" didn't want to brag about themselves so they didn't comment! lol

i was asked last sunday, after a meeting that i attended with my wife, by a good friend if i believed that these were indeed the "last days".
what prompted his question was the public talk given by a young man that i have known since he was 7 years old and is now an elder at 30.. the talk made mention several times that we are 'definitely' living in the "last days".
i assume that the expression "last days" was prominent in the outline.. i hope that he way i answered my friend's question jump started his thinking.

I hope that he way I answered my friend's question jump started his thinking. I told him that we need to take into account the definition of the word 'day' or 'days' according to the way the wt defines 'days'. If the "last days" began in 1914, as the wt teaches, then the end could really be thousands of years into the future. After all, a thousand years is but 1 day to jehober. And with all the "overlapping generations" (lol) and the "new light" (lol) yet to be revealed, I'm sure the sure that there is an explanation. (or an excuse)

i've noticed in the past 10 years that the social support that used to be available in the congs, a shoulder to cry on, elders to help with family/marriage issues these seem to have been purposely withdrawn.
counsel is even heard from the platform that the elders are not there to help people with their problems.. so first in the 80s-90s they take away the congregation get to getters and social events and now they seem to be going one step further in taking away the emotional support for people too.. this will take away an aspect that i'm sure was keeping alot of people in the borg, the community support.
if that's not there and its just about meetings and ministry how many will start to get their emotional support elsewhere?.
When the 'elder body' is mainly comprised of fairly uneducated, unsophisticated, working men with no more training than can be had at a 6 hour "elder school" what should you expect?

many people like to boast about “jehovah being loving and impartial toward all”.
there are even scriptures that say words to that effect.. however, if we look at just his actual conduct and actions , and not accept the words supposedly written by his apologetic “bible writers”, the facts tell us something else!.
firstly, he chose one special nation and race of people.

When I first heard or read somewhere here that Jehovah was a genocidal ,homicidal maniac that relished in the shedding of blood both animal and human ,I was shocked and appalled at such a thought !
Amen brother! Then after decades of being a jw, I also removed the 'rose colored glasses' and I realized that the bible itself was nothing more than Hebrew Mythology. Written by Jews, for Jews, about Jews.

so here's the point regarding blood transfusions.
notice jesus asks the pharisees if it was lawful on the sabbath to save a life.
so, can you break god's law to save your life if it came to that?
If you or your loved ones need blood and nothing else will do, well just remember that it's a hell of a lot easier to ask for forgiveness that it it is to ask for permission. You can't bring someone back from the dead but you can get reinstated if df'ed for accepting blood. We all know that it's a deadly bullsh*t doctrine and I doubt that any jw alive today will even bat an eye if you take blood and live to tell the story. I know that even when i was a uber jw, I would not have thought much about it if someone took blood and lived!

"soon very soon when we come after you we will have easy access to every witness address and info thanks to your database that you have set up!
"- satan's hordes.
remember back in the 90's they didn't want the elders to have a publisher list on their computer for fear the govt.
Is it possible that the wt might sell the data to raise cash? Money talks and wt stalks!
