Not been here for ages - can I have a Readers Digest version of updates

getting on with life and all that.
i still attend some meetings.. i want to be lazy and wonder if somebody could post some bullet points on what has happened in the last 12 months.. here is what i already know.. raymond franz diedkm school - new elders textbook - posted online before many elders have seen it - priceless!hawaii branch closed and comes under us branch - sept 2010irish branch closing and coming under the oversight of the british branch - many irish brothers pissed off by this.

The 2011 Yearbook says there are 8786 peak publishers for 2010 service year. 8531 average publishers. 396 baptised and 97 congregations.
The November OKM page 8 says as of Sept 1 2010 the Hawaii came under the oversight of the US Branch

- KM School - new elders textbook - posted online before many elders have seen it - priceless!
- Hawaii branch closed and comes under US branch - Sept 2010
- Irish branch closing and coming under the oversight of the British Branch - many Irish brothers pissed off by this. Jan 2011 I think

Do you believe that Armstrong was really on the moon?
by Newborn inwe had a discussion at lunch today.
some are sure he wasn't and some sure that he was.. i want to believe that he was there.. just interesting to hear what you think?.

We had brother and sister Scrounger. Neither worked but both pioneered. Lunch was always at yours never theirs, their car never had petrol so they always needed picking up for field service and meetings although actually the car was a gift from someone! Rented property temporarily so always on the look out for spare rooms and sofas to kip on. Always managed an annual holiday somewhere hot though!
Oh yes - had these two.

by minimus inyup, this is a negative thread.. there are a lot of things but i'll start with one.. jws believe god will destroy 99.9% of the world simply because they aren't witnesses.
this view produces the "i am better than you" attitude because they get to live forever and you will die forever.
(not a nice religion)..
