Does anybody have dowloaded copies they could post here of the part(s) in the book that talks about the UN?
I've decided to mail a copy of the UN letter to my old congregation (probably a waste of time) along with copies of the revelation book that speaks badly of the UN.

just finished reading the five people you meet in heaven by mitch albom.
basic story is that a guy dies and has to meet and learn five lessons on his way to his personal heaven.
who would be your five(they have to be dead of course)?
Wasn't this a beautiful book!!! I loved it sooooo much, especially the end. I cried.... I thought it was so touching. Ok, I can't really think of anyone I'd like to meet. I guess God if there is one.

I believe Jesus existed but I am not sure if I believe he was sent from heaven. Maybe he was a lunatic and really believe he was God's son.
Would any of you die to save all mankind? My fiance is not a religious person and doesn't really believe in God. I guess one could say he is agnostic.
One day we were listening to something on the Radio (NPR) about Jesus and he said to me that he would die to save all mankind. And I believe him, he is such a good and selfless person.
So I ask, would any of you sacrafice yourself for all mankind? I like to think I would but I am not sure. Maybe any god natured person would. I'm just curious.

I got baptized in 1990 at a CA and I believe there were only five of us. I remember times when there were only two or three so I believe the numbers do fluctuate.

I wouldn't care if my honey wanted to go with his friends but if he tried to take me there I would feel insulted.
Why would you want to take your date there? There are plenty of other places to go? Why do you ask such a question?

ok well per my post yesterday most of you know i was suddenly disfellowshipped after my letter of baptism nullification.
i called the presiding overseer to ask why.
i specifically listed in my letter that i was not to be disfellowshipped nor was i disassociating myself.
Just to be safe I think you should add to your letter one more reason why your baptism should be null.
Insert that your little toe was actually sticking out a little and the dunkers didn't notice.

so i'm 40 today.
wow.... not only have i never celebrated my birthday, but my "date-of-birth" (april 20th) has always coincided with that of adolph hitler's and, more recently, the 1999 columbine student massacre.
furthermore my daughter has just informed me that today (4/20) is also inernational marijuana day, apparently to coincide with the term "four twenty," which stands for pot.. anyway, although age 40 has traditionally been one of the major mile-markers in peoples' lives, i feel great!
