The most-anticipated coming attraction in Hollywood is finally here. No, not ‘Mission: Impossible 3’ (although that new trailer is pretty rockin'). It’s the Tom Cruise - Katie Holmes baby, a girl named Suri. She's here only a short year after the world was first introduced to the wildest head-over-heels celebrity couple. There's no information regarding the delivery, yet. I sure hope that she doesn't get post-partum depression!

Correction on the Scientology birthing methods.... Scientologists John Travolta and his actress wife Kelly Preston were among those explaining the method. "Screaming is fine....it's the words. If you can avoid saying certain phrases and words...Of course you're going to groan and yell. It hurts. Just keep it to the minimum," said Preston, mother of two. http://news.aol.com/entertainment/movies/articles?id=20060408081609990001

According to the Scientology website moaning and yelling is OK.

Words however are not OK. So the nurses, doctors, and anyone else must be quiet. So as the website says - no one yelling "push push, breathe"

Well, I think that to be consistent no screaming during conception should be allowed either; ESPECIALLY no crying out oh God oh God oh God, since that will scar a good little scientologist.

    Right??

I guess they don't care about screaming, yelling, and jumping up and down on a couch, on national TV either.

What an odd little man Tom Cruise has turned out to be...
Here's hoping his kids are less traumatized by that cult that I was by the JWs...

Tom Cruise should start his own cult!

After John Travolta's wife gave birth to their daughter, I recall reading in an interview where he said how proud he was of her for not uttering a sound - a strong scientologist. I don't believe a word any of them say because they use their celebrity to promote the religion and just like a Witness, they don't want to smear the religion or bring bad press to it.

On the other side - I did read that Tommy Boy had an adult pacifier molded specifically for Katie to use during the blessed event.

In addition, I believe that Brooke Shields had her baby on the same day didn't she?

Alot of women deliver children with dignity and faith and are not scientologists.
    Dignity is nothing new.

We all know that many people think they need a religion and want something different from the mainstream varieties.
Religion is religion and always will be. All religions are the same trap........looking to someone else to tell you your worth and explain God to you.

Maybe joining a religion is a spiritual step in a direction towards the ultimate goal of autonomy. The self associates with a chosen group, then breaks away at some point when it is mature and able to stand on its own in the world.

Anyway, back to Katie....I think she is sooooooo cute! No wonder Tom adores her!
    And welcome little Surie!
