LOL Gopher, My own cousin seems to be shunning me now. A handful of times now he's done it so I'm sure he is shunning me. His own sister was baptized and left the org and became a born-again-christian and he doesn't shun her. It's not a great loss in my life that he totally ignores my presence. I just think it's totally hypocritical. I think I need to do a little damage control now. My sister told my niece that she doesn't want to know if I'm apostate. I guess my Dad old her some things about me that scared her. I just got a Christmas tree but I think I'll have to for-go decorating the outside of my house. My sister lives nearby and could drive by. She'll won't just pop in for fear of finding out I have a tree.

Last night I went to my sister-in-law to be bridal shower. Everything was fine . . . no questions or comments like . . . "So where are you attending now?" "When are you going to return?" "We miss you." Or my favorite: "The friends miss you." An old friend that I used to be pretty close to was there. I loved this lady like an older sister. I was looking forward to seeing her. Everything was fine for a while. We talked and laughed almost the whole evening. Until she asked me who I lived with. I thought for a second and parted of me wanted to lie to keep the situation light and almost like old times. Of all people I thought she wouldn't judge me. So I just told the truth and said I live with my fiance. Her mood changed drastically. NO more laughing or much talking, she was only being polite after that. I'm not sure if she judged me and try to distance herself from me or she just felt uncomfortable. Now that I really think about it she was judging me. Knowing her she was probably thinking to herself that I am so bad because I know better. I just hope she doesn't get mad at my sisters for inviting me. I don't think she'll take as far as going to the elders. For the sake of my family I should have lied and said I live with a roommate.

Hambeak, I'm really so sorry to hear this. I'm so angry on your behalf that they are treating you this way. To not give you any information about the funeral is just plain sick and evil. I wish you all the best while dealing with this. I cannot imagine what you are going through.

a little about the play from the website . . .
"Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch."

Did anyone see her and Tim McGraw on the Oprah show a while back? From watching that you could totally see her personality. Her and Tim seem like they really have fun together, they seem very genuine. They do not seem like pretentious people in the least bit. So that is the last of me defending Faith.

Oh My God! Nobody got that she was joking? It seemed she was in a playful mood that night. At another point in the show she was fooling around on camera. I can't think exactly what else she was doing but I totally believed she was only kidding around from the moment I saw her. I believe that is was totally misunderstood.

I have love/hate feelings about the show myself. The soap opera style gets on my nerves as well at times. I like Dr. Burke . . . His character is much more grounded and honest than McDreamy. And I can't get over Mcdreamy playing the nerd in 80s movies. Does anyone watch Brothers and Sisters on Sunday night? I really like that one.
