While you're not a total raging hormone, you are easily persuaded by your libido to throw all caution to the wind. You're willing to take the occasional risk - like showing up late for a work meeting or waking up your sleeping grandparents - for the sake of a romp in the hay, but you also have certain boundaries. Perhaps sex doesn't occupy your every waking thought (or you're simply able to screen it), or you just have certain moral limits to how far you'll go. Essentially, you've got a high libido that you've managed to whip into control. You try to think with your head and not your groin, but occasionally give into temptation. This is a healthy, balanced approach... just don't forget to use your brain.

I work for the Department of Children & Family Services. They really do great work. I know there are bad workers and things are not always fair. But if you knew how many cases that come through here on a regular basis with real child abuse issues you would have a great deal of respect for them.

Are looks deceiving?

just by looking at a person, the way he/she dresses or by the facial expressions, can you tell what kind of person she/he is?.

do you see a correlation between the looks and the personality of a person?

Yes looks can be deceiving.

My family used to always tell me I look "stuck up". Sometimes a supposedly “dirty look” I gave one of them would even offend them. LOL. I am the nicest, most caring person I know.

Sometimes people perceive my shy, quiet and reserved manner as me thinking I am better than them. But once they get to know me they have a completely different view of me.

Some of my closest friends past and present have said to me things like; I thought you were such a snob before I met you. My face is hard to read. I always look too serious. I work on smiling more.

LAKERS LOSE!!!

i hate the lakers so i take great pleasure when they lose.

btw they lost despite the refs trying to give them the game.

Oh, c'mon, the refs were giving bad calls against the Lakers as well. Let's be fair here.

I have to admit though the Lakers did deserve to lose last night.

But they'll be back on their game, don't worry your pretty little heads about it. LOL

I was also sad to see Garnett fowl out too. Even though I love the Lakers I must give credit where credit is due. He played a really good game last night.

most jw's that i have known were proud and happy to be called "ministers".

it gave them a sense of superiority over other laypersons.

brothers might especially be happy to have that designation, especially if they didn't want to be drafted.

I did feel special for a brief period of time. Wasn't there an ID card that we were suppossed to carry on our bodies at all time?

Remodeling the Kingdom Hall

there wasn't really anything wrong with it.

i could see painting or putting in new carpet when needed.

I think this is a waste of money that can be given to needy families.

I always felt bad about it when I would hear reports of those in foreign countries who didn't even have a building to worship in.

Anybody else have similar rebuilding or remodeling done to their KH that was unnecessary?
