I'd like to think these "faithful" ones are just sincere lovers of God. But I suspect many of them are very insecure, fear filled people who need the comfort of sameness and order in their lives. They are institutionalized, not unlike criminals who fear being on the "outside" and commit petty crimes to stay incarcerated. The GB prey on these types and reward them the same way they reward everyone else. With a threat, " Stay close and submit and keep working or we will forget all you have done for us and cast you out with nothing!" This terrifies these insecure ones and they keep their heads down at ALL cost. And it ends up costing them a lot! Pity them, it is more that they will get from the GB! Yours, Maverick

The Perfect Witness
by JH inwe all know brothers and sisters, who never miss a meeting.
even if there is a snow storm, or any good reason to miss, they will always be there.
every saturday in the field service, and always saying yes to the elders.. did these people fall on your nerves, because they were so devout?.

Dear Sirona: The dumbell that said," What doesn't kill us makes us stronger!" should get his butt kicked! This too shall pass. Maverick PS I just got this off the Carlin News Service: Scientists in Switzerland announced today they have been able to make mice fart by holding them upside-down and tapping them on the stomach with a ballpoint pen. I hope you fine this usefull.

Contact from the witnesses since leaving & I am angry !
by mattnoel ini have been looking through the site and noticed that a lot of you have had trouble with the witnesses since leaving.
i know when i was on the way out they wanted to meet up with me about half a dozen times, and i had various phone calls to try and stop me but since then i have not heard any more from them.
although i must admit there are still a couple who keep in touch with me via e mail and they let me know what is going on in the cong.

Dear Chevysnats: I feel for you and agree that the J-duds took some real liberties going through your stuff. This is not a slight, but I am presuming you are a young person. I was involved with that bunch for 25 years and served as a member of the Servant Body in six different Halls 16 of those years. I am sure you know this now but you never have to submit to this kind of abuse. I walked away and nobody came looking for me. They were glad to see me go. I wonder who was better off? Even though, I own a business and run into the goofballs all the time. You learned a lot sooner than I did and I commend you for it. I finally grew a beard and long hair, now when I spot a J-dud I start off after him or her with this big grin on my face like "hey how are you, great to see you!' And watch the ding-dong run into things trying to get the h--l away from ME! Makes my whole day! Maybe you could come up with a fun way to make them crazy and put them into confusion. If you think about it that should not be too hard, look how the GB has been running them in circles. They're half dazed and confused to start with. Hang in there son, you got them on the run. Eldermeeting
by happy man in.
i was on an elder meeting 1999, when the gb come upp widh harder ruels fore dfd system and even when we can take back peopel.. they say ther that we had ben to soft, and we must think about to keep org clean, and we must also be carefull not to take back peopel to eary, they must show that they realy regret what they done.. i must ask the former elder on this board, if someone here was on that meeting, it was splitt on two days, and the second day we have this new look on dfd system.. i think this was a very bad move, when i hear this , i was sure that this going to give us problem, but when i read here it is much more problem then i was expeckting.. i is realy tragikal that the gb do this and i think it harm us very much, and ofcourse i think it was wrong, and not from jehova, perhaps satans way to destoy, putt in men like wolfs how putt hard ruels in the cong , impossibel to follow, like this , dont talk to you children if they are dfd, who can follow that .

The GoverningBodyGod claims they want to "keep the congregations clean" but what they mean is that they need to try and "keep the congregations "stupid"! Maverick

Elders Recording Phone Calls?
by Maverick ini have a question for you-all.
but let me explain first.
it was a common practice in my hall to record all calls from the membership.
-

Thank you-all for your resposes. I wasn't as clear as I should have been. I was reffering to phone calls made to the Elders homes, not at the Hall. Here in Florida it is illegal to record a telephone conversation without the consent of BOTH parties prior to the recording of the conversation. Prior consent must be obtained in writing or be a part of, and obtained at the start of the recording. As far as at the Hall, every cong. I was in someone listened in. Usually on the Library phone, (in the back in the dark). Maverick

I have a question for you-all. But let me explain first. It was a common practice in my Hall to record all calls from the membership. The reasoning was based on the two witness rule. If you had a call from Sister Upset and counseled her, she may later say you told her something you did not. By recording your phone conversation you "covered" yourself. It could not be used officially but if an issue ever came up the commitee could hear it and that would end it. They would bury the matter if you were proved correct. As I only can speak about the Hall in which I was a member of the Servant Body I do not know if this was an exception. I will say if I get a call from the Pharisee the first thing I plan to say is, "I do NOT give permission for my call to be recorded". Now my question; Does anyone else have any knoweldge of the practice of Elders recording their phone calls with Publishers?

Letter to my dad-----need feedback please!!!!!!!!!!!
by Jesika indear father,
i have written you letters so many times.
this letter i have to give you.

Dear Jesika: I am the single father of a girl. I have written a number of stories about my daughter that have been published locally. There is not an hour that goes by that I don't think about her. I even helped deliver her! Your letter has moved me greatly. I guess I live in a dream world. I don't even like seeing my baby in a bathing suit, (she looks like 7of 9 on the TV show Voyager). I could not live with myself if I ever betrayed her the way your father betrayed you. Yes, you were betrayed. This mans "job" was to protect and cherish you. I have told my daughter that marrage mates may come and go but she will always be my little girl and no one can take that away. But I see that there is one person who could "take that away". I could. If I ever betrayed her trust and love and the security she so rightly should feel. My baby is 18 now so she is beyond child molestation. And I worked hard to prepare her for this wicked world. But while she was little I was ever vigilant for her safety. This man was not a father, just a sperm donor and he does not merit the honor of the title Father! Yours most deeply, Maverick

Question about field service reports ??
by Silverleaf ini wanted to try out the new "system" simon has created for us so i thought i would ask a question that's been bugging me for a while.. "field service reports" - is this the correct terminology for the 'time sheets' a jw fills out to show how much time they spend going door to door?
what's bugging me is how do jws justify needing to fill out these 'time sheets?
' it would seem to me that god/jehovah would know how much time someone spent in service to him, and therefore not need a piece of paper to prove how dedicated someone was.

Part on the Service meeting: Encourage (using guilt) the punlishers (peons) to turn in their field service reports( rat on themselves) . Use examples( that we list for you) from the Kingdom Ministry (not the Bible, because it's not in there) of how well ( more subservient) the Japaness Brothers are doing(our bidding). Have two demonstrations by qualified( butt kissing) publishers(see above) using practical methods of good record keeping (carry a time slip around with you) and accurate( not counting coffee breaks) time reporting. 10 min. Thanks Angharad: I thought maybe it was an operator (me) error. But I tried for two days to post on a number of topics. All kind of ways. I sent an E-mail to the admin. and where as in the past I got a quick response, to date no response. I guess I am a little sensitive to suppression after 25 years under the GoverningBodyGod. But I am back and Happy, happy, happy. Untill I tick someone else off! Maverick
