What is your, "Unforgivable Sin?"

the wts has made vague statements about the unforgivable sin metioned in the bible but we all know that you can curse god and jesus and be forgiven but should you promote the idea that the wts is not god's only earthly channel and that organization is a fraud, that will not be forgiven.. on a person note, should you guys call a woman by the wrong name when you are first trying to get to know her, that will not be forgiven, especially if you call her a co-workers name!.

driving your car on my front lawn will piss me off almost to the point of no return, do it twice and i'm done with you!.

what is your, unforgivable sin?

my gf and i just came back from london and scotland and this came up during the trip.

i like to joke and make small talk with the service people and other guests i encounter while my gf thinks this behavior is rude.

in all fareness she is from the north, conn. and only moved to the south a few years ago, while i moved from mass.

"we need to talk"!

men hate to hear those four words coming off of their gf's pouty lips.

we know what they are really saying is, that they need to chew our butts and we need to take it!

What would happen if a JW did this?

let me tell you a story and you decide what the society would do if a member of the borg did this.. .

a brother tells the elders one of the brothers in their hall is a member of the ymca.

the elders assign a qualified brother to check out this accusation.

Are we having an impact on the WTS?

thanks to pro-active people like simon i do believe we have an impact on the wts.

i think ex-witnesses are better adjusted and recover quicker because of these web sites.

i know i was able to deprogram and come to terms with being in that cult for 24 years much quicker than being divorced after 15 years.

The WTS and Holidays

it's that time of year again and the age old problem of conflict between the wts and the worldly family emerges once more.

so to all you lurkers and newbees let me just say this.

forget the religious aspect of the pagan origins of these times.

The middle of the night and wide awake!

i wake up between 2:30 and 3 a.m. most every night, if i'm alone i read or get on line or watch the tube until about 4 a.m., then crash out until 6:30 to start my day.

four nights ago i was sound asleep, woke up with a flash of a story idea, got up and wrote a rough draft.

this kind of thing happens to me all the time.

Do you open the mail, even if it's not addressed to you?

when i was married my wife would open all the mail, even personal letters sent to me or our daughter.

i hated it!

if the letters where from old friends of the female persuasion she would give them to me later, opened and often mangled, in the evening and want an explaination.

i think bradley needs a little confidence boost, he is a great guy but seems to think otherwise based on the comments i read.

Visiting other Halls

even though the dubs are suppossed to be one big, happy, ( braindead) family i found visiting other halls quite interesting.

if i was moving i would check out the hall in that territory.

if i was on vacation or working i would find a hall nearby.
