Nicely put together folks. Here is an example of a group project. Each person adding a little to the basic article. How different from the WT study where they spoon fed us and had us spit it back out undigested! And even if not all points are agreed with totally all are repected. It helps me recover from my spiritual malnourishment. I find this whole process cathartic. Thank you all! Maverick

Dear Rebel; Welcome to the outsiders club. You are not alone my friend. I used to watch how the J-duds treated one another and then how they treated me and boy was it different! Are you an artist? As an artist I find I travel to the beat of a different drummer all the time. Even as a member of Mensa there are times when I just don't fit in. It is not as bad as the J-duds. At least if I start in on Applied Chaos or Quanta the Mensans don't look at me as if I had two heads like the J-duds did! The J-duds all like to brag about how cheeply they got their suits and stuff. One day I had enough of the I'm not materialistic crap and told the brothers standing around I got the best deal on my suit. I told them I beat up a drunk and just had the suit drycleaned and it only cost me $3.50! They didn't get it. They just stood their and looked at me like I had two heads! Don't beat yourself up, there are some 'real' people out there...somewhere! Maverick

Well the GoverningBodyGod has added a new twist to my BN letter. They are not contesting my stand that I was never a Baptized member. But they have decided to treat me as if I was an unbaptized publisher. This put me in the approved associate standing.
After all, I did associate and had many privileges so I can't claim otherwise. They simply announced that I was not associated with the Christian Cong. anymore.
The 1988 Wt 11/15 pages 18 and 19 cover the situation quite well. Paragraph 18 states; How will Witnesses thereafter view the person? Well, at and earlier point he was an 'unbeliever' attending meetings. Then he both wanted to be and qualified to be a publisher of the good news. This is no longer the case, so he again is a person of the world. The Bible does not require that Witnesses avoid speaking with him, for he is not disfellowshipped.
I sent a letter to the PO who made the annoucement just to slap him around a little. What is he going to do? Get up there next week and say they changed their mind and now I'm DF'd! My lawyer said I would have a hard time disclaiming what the PO said. The fact that the announcement was made during a local needs part on a week night during a meeting that the general public is not very likely to attend weakens any claim of slander. And I am going to be shunned by some anyway. Hell, I was treated like crap when I was an approved associate!
The fact that the J-duds didn't try to DF me for apostacy and let me go as a now 'unapproved disassociate' is a fair victory to me. I wanted out and I wanted to be a real pain about it. And I didn't want to be DF'd. Maverick

I sent this letter to Brooklyn on the 16th of Jan. 2003. I sent out hundreds of copies the next day to every witness I was able to get an address for in three states. And I sent out a dozen or so copies to witnesses who call my office for work related reasons. This letter has be posted on five web sites for about a month. The results? One phone call by the PO and one returned copy by the CO,( see Baptism Nillification update on this forum). No official action has been taken. I will keep everyone posted. As far as I can tell they are ducking this one and hoping I'll go away. They don't know me very well! Maverick

I have yet to read anything from the members here claiming Apostolic Ascension, or of being God's only Earthly Channel. Or operating by Holy Spirit and being the Faithful and Discreet Slave in charge of Jesus" sheep". Hey Pal! Jehovah is not my enemy, after all I'm not pissin' in His pool! Thanks Undisfellowshipped: I love that "term" NEW LIGHT! Does that mean there was old light? Or maybe it is unlight. Is that like the uncola? Is "un" new light kinda like darkness. So the old information wasn't light at all but darkness and the new light would then be NEW DARKNESS. This sound right to me. The Governing Body is updating their prophetic darkness. The only light I feel is my lightheadedness in trying to understand the GB's "light". Maverick "the comfused!"

Has this "Fanciful and Discredited Slave ever got any prophecy right? Do these guys really believe this stuff? The longer it goes on the more obvious it becomes that they don't have any better a handle on figuring out Gods timeline and methods than my cat does. The only difference is my cat does not control the lives of millions of, (basically good hearted) needy people.
