  Name a Book that is Better than the Bible

  and more important to you than the bible.. ok, for some of us most books are better than the bible, for others the choice is more difficult.. a book that i feel has more value and wisdom than the bible is:.

  the hitchhiker guide to the galaxy by douglas adams (all 5 book in the trilogy actually).

  Hey SD, when I was a dub kid, my pal and I once mused, "Wouldn't it be cool to base our lives on the teachings in Adam's HH guide to the galaxy?"

  I would say almost any book by Daniel Pinkwater. It's funny, It's inspiring, it makes you happy.

  Especially, "The snark-out boys and the avocado of death."

  well, i have once again found myself at that extravaganza of masochism, the district convention.

  this year, however, since my kids were still in school, i was able to skip out on the first day, and join in for only the last two days.

  my parents threw away my smurfs when i was a kid.. some freaked out jr. publisher saw my blooming smurf collection on the shelf, and informed my parents that smurfs are little demons!.

  the enemy of the smurfs was gargamel, a grouchy guy with a cat.. i guess that makes him jehovah eh?.

  he was such a great guy.

  was in the raf in wwii and went to iraq and other places but didn't really talk much about the war.

  how sorry i was to hear from dansk-he is going through a very difficult time.. i would like all prayers, thoughts, please keep this in mind ____ for me!!!!.

  the sad news he has cancer.it is lymphoma!!!

  they are waiting on the results of the biopsy before determining treatment..... he didnt want me to say anything at first- as he feels you all have your own problems & he didnt want to upset anyone-because he says "they are dear friends".
