Oh Damn...I have been sprung!
by stuckinarut2 ini knew it could happen one day...yet i was so careful..... sitting at the sound cabinet, i had our awesome forum open on my tablet, and didn't see the microphone brother looking over at me...... he wandered over and asked me "whats that site?".
i quickly responded "oh, i googled to get to our jw.org site, and this must have popped up" while quickly closing it.... he didn't look too fussed, but my heart was beating..... he is pretty chilled out and certainly not an "uber-dub"...but this was a wake up call to be more careful...i am fading fast, but don't want anymore attention from the nazi-elders while doing so!.
be careful all!

March Broadcast- Jehovah is speeding up the work
by adjusted knowledge ini watched some of the segments on the jw broadcast.
in the video they showed how they managed their inventory orders for the congregations.
at the conclusion it was stated by the narrator how god is speeding up the work.. the problem is the system they implemented has been used for over two decades in logistics.

How many people have died since Jehovah began speeding up the work?
The whole thing is absolutely ridiculous.

What person/persons/group is behind the rebranding of Jehovahs Witnesses
by truthseeker inwith the jw rebranding program in full swing, who do you think is behind all this?
i'm not certain the governing body came up with these ideas.
at least not the old guard which died off around 2009.. given the fairly recent articles in the kingdom ministry and watchtower about the dangers of the internet and having the latest gadget, this rebranding effort can't have been in the works for much more than three years.. the makeover is slick...very slick...and very clever.

The makeover is slick...very slick...and very clever. Beyond the mindset of GB 2.0. And given the lack of college education, whoever designed this new marketing tool knew exactly what they were doing and were well versed in human psychology.
JW TV, JW animations and the logo are not the ideas of amateurs.
If we could find out those really responsible for this religion's makeover, it would go a long way to solving the puzzle as to why the makeover was really necessary. We think we know why and say it was on poor retention of children and teens, but is there more to this?

We're not dealing with sincere anointed who genuinely believe their teachings but scam artists
by truthseeker inlooking at all the doctrinal teachings over the last five years, it's almost impossible for any person of conscience who originated such doctrine to do a complete u-turn and change it when the passage of time has proved beyond doubt that doctrine is no longer credible.. i say this with reference to the generation of 1914. they were so sure.
it was part of the awake!
masthead for decades that those who saw the events of 1914 would also see the great tribulation.. .

They are not spiritual and I question their delusion - I think they know it's a scam and are comfortable with it.

Looking at all the doctrinal teachings over the last five years, it's almost impossible for any person of conscience who originated such doctrine to do a complete u-turn and change it and still believe it when the passage of time has proved beyond doubt that doctrine is no longer credible.
I say this with reference to the Generation of 1914. They were so sure. It was part of the Awake! masthead for decades that those who saw the events of 1914 would also see the Great Tribulation.
Now, imagine the old GB 1.0. For decades they believed and taught that the 1914 generation would not pass before the GT began. In the 1993 conventions there were rumors that there would be a change and in 1994 there was little mention of the generation of 1914 that year, which was by now already eighty years old.
Until 1995 - the Awake! masthead removes reference to 1914 and leaves the beginning of the tribulation open-ended.
So what were the then Governing Body members actually thinking? Could they still believe with all their heart that their 1914 Generation was really true? Surely some doubts must have set in?
So when the changes begin in 1995 this continues on for the next decade until more changes are announced. The generation of 1914 are first the anointed, then the wicked people living in the mid 1990s, then back to the anointed.
Until 2012 or so when the generation becomes two overlapping generations.
Can anyone see how utterly ridiculous this is? We laugh at this and wonder how could the GB believe this crap? Seriously? Two overlapping generations?
Then this new revised teaching starts to get printed in the new releases at this year's district convention.
And I'm beginning to wonder about the sincerity of the Governing Body.
Either they are fooling themselves OR they are perpetuating a SCAM on the body of believers.
I am now inclined to think, that this is not a group of seven misguided elderly anointed who sincerely believe they have the truth, because no sane person could possibly u-turn so many times on one single teaching and yet still believe they had the truth...so...
I am of the strong opinion that they have been caught with their pants down - chronology has backed them in a corner, and they have no way out except to change the teaching, but in doing so they have lost credibility among themselves and the flock who wait in perpetuity for the Great Tribulation.
They are deliberately and wilfully perpetuating a scam to fool the masses because they have to keep the Great Watchtower engine well oiled or the whole thing comes to an end.
Hence all the distractions, like the grey Bible, the JW.org web site etc.
We're not dealing with sincere elderly anointed who genuinely believe what they teach but scam artists.

Never give up exposing the Society
by truthseeker ini think now, more than ever, this psuedo-religion needs to be exposed.
they are harming people mentally, emotionally, and financially.. they are a registered charity which does not perform charitable works.. they are pillaging kingdom hall funds which were voluntarily given by the friends for the benefit of their own congregation.. they discourage higher education for young people while encouraging them to donate their entire life to "kingdom interests".
they wilfully and deliberately pull the wool over the eyes of the rank and file with their ever changing doctrines.. .

Let's keep on exposing them, each of us doing what we can. We owe it to our friends and family who are still members.

Is the Society trying to self sabotage?
by truthseeker ini'm not going to list all the changes here that have happened in 2014, most of you who frequent the boards know about them.. in reference to anthony morris' talk, i can't help feel that the organization is behaving so abnormally out of character for itself that it is bewildering even to ex jws.. cultish behavior is perfectly normal for cults, but whats happened this year is so far out of whack it beggars belief.. what do they think they are doing?
are they psyching jws up for some major announcement?.
i can't help but feel that something really strange is going on, this does not feel like the regular "special announcements" followed by articles in the watchtower.. .

Enlightenment,
I am referring to the sudden embracing of the internet, the animated characters Sofia and Caleb, JW TV, the endorsement of the website - after the Society telling us for years that the Internet was bad bad bad.
Also, the pillaging of Kingdom Hall funds over $5,000.
Something feels terribly wrong about all of this, I can't put my finger on it.Also, the two overlapping generations sprang out of nowhere. Nobody could have forseen this, they dragged out the one generation for as long as they possibly could. One could call this purposeful intelligence in the art of manipulating the rank and file. Somewhere there is a hive mind at work that does not believe what they teach and preach but will do anything to keep the system going.

"Between the Lines" of the Branch Visit
by TTATTelder ini am starting this thread to discuss the financial points i picked up during the branch visit.. firstly - as an elder we were told that all donations from the event - local and worldwide work were to be sent to the branch.
first of all - could the money-grab be any more obvious given these instructions?
is it even legal to take funds a person gave to a non-profit for one specific purpose (pay the light bill) to allocate them for another (www slush fund)?

The question I have is who benefits?
i don't doubt what you are saying, but who personally benefits from all this money?
The GB live in Bethel, they have all their needs catered for, free lodging, free food, flights and travel paid for but how much do they have in terms of personal wealth?
The only possibility left is a hostile corporate takeover of Bethel itself that will be hidden in plain sight with the invisible ones making off with the money.

These changes almost have an ominous feel to them.
Dont forget too, that the last major split in the religion was almost a century ago when Rutherford kicked ass at Bethel.
What are your thoughts?

It wouldn't surprise me if shepherding visits were now done using text messages...
"we love u"
"we missed u"
"the friends really miss u at the hall"
"can u text me your field service report"
