How wonderful is JW.ORG
by Sabin inthere are some who still love the organization & the people in it.. who understand that every large organization has their own issues.. they believe the advice on what type of person you are supposed to be & how to treat others has made them a better person.
and they believe, quite frankly, even if the g.b are a bunch of narcissistic wannabe powerful guys, the worest thing they have done is to wake up people on saturday mornings.. i`ve been awake most of the night thinking about this, wondering if this person had a point.
then something came to my mind.

WT has accomplished a world-wide work no doubt, but is also guilty of great harm to many people beyond "waking them up on Saturday mornings." If you need proof, simply read some of the experiences on this forum. There are too many accounts here that have the "ring of truth" in my mind and cannot all be "apostate lies." -

they are registered or participate under the "european association of jehovah's christian witnesses".

1] apple watch watchers - this group takes a great interest in watches worn by members of the governing body.
2] cult escape consultants - one who freely offers advise on how to flee from a cult - mainly the wt society.

LOL, I know, I know Faye. You have to admit that JW doubters will at first make the statement, "But what if WT is right?". I recall the first KH meeting after 09/11, we had JWs who had not been seen in years show up in sackcloth and ashes. -

Name Things You Can't Do If You Are JW...or not supposed to do
by minimus inwitnesses are not supposed to stand for the national anthem but can stand for a flag salute.. you can't say bless you if someone sneezes, good luck!, or " you too" if someone says, happy holidays.. it is a religion of cannot dos.
everything is pagan and worldly.. what are things that are unacceptable to jehovah's witnesses that really are no big deal to everyone else?

Suicide Prevention Counseling
by MrCellophane inin the 1980's when i was an elder, i don't remember the society providing any guidance to elders on suicide prevention counseling.
i realize much has changed since then.
can any current/recent elders update me on what the current position of the local elders would be if approached by someone in the congregation contemplating suicide and seeking help?.

Because they believe that the GB is the Faithful Slave only when acting as a group and not as individuals. But I believe they do that to distance themselves legally from the outcome of their policies. "Gong!"...Sorry Geoffrey, doesn't work like that.
