Can't Understand Why This Is Allowed
by mariet ini moved to roseburg, oregon.
the jehovah's witnesses are allowed to set up a display and man it right outside of the local library, and they are there every day and hour the library is open.
i am [redacted], the director of the douglas county library system and wanted to respond to your website email of december 11, 2015. i have consulted with the county attorneys office about your concern about jehovahs witnesses use of the front porch of the library building in roseburg, and my understanding of the law is as follows.. .

They most certainly have the right to be there...sitting, chatting, texting, checking email, reading the e-WT, gossiping, and seldom making placements much less actually talking to anyone. -

"And Your Little Dog Too...." WTS not content with taking kids' ice cream money, now they want them to give up their puppy dogs too.
by sir82 indon't know if anyone else caught this subtle but malicious photo from the 12/13/15 wt study article.. not sure how to post pictures here, but the photo is on the website's copy of the article, just below paragraph 12:.

note the 3 pictures in sequence tell a "story":.

WT is really reaching for new heights. BTW, I don't think it will work much as I have known of a COBE that insisted on having the Book Study on Saturday morning followed by Field Service immediately afterwards. Why, do you ask Brother? It's so that I can have the rest of my Saturday to tend to my pet horse. This bully has probably been "retired" from his COBE-dom, but I doubt he will sell the horse to the glue factory. Geesh! -

That must be one of the most off the wall concepts every imagined by the Awake writing department, even surpassing the "organ recipient taking on the personality of the donor" idea that was put in print during the 1960's. -

Isaiah 57:11
"Whom did you dread and fear
So that you started to lie?
You did not remember me.
You took nothing to heart.
Have I not kept silent and withdrawn?
So you showed no fear of me."

You have to feel sorry for Brother Chairman, he can't seem to sit still. First, he instructs the audience to sit down and listen because the music is "part of the program", then he fidgets a little and checks his phone, then gets up because he forgot his songbook (all within 2 minutes). How can you expect the R&F to sit still for the musical prelude when the chairman doesn't. I could not watch more than a few minutes. -

Dont Give Them More Power Than They Deserve
by Tech49 ina new montra that was recently adopted by the wife and i is this:.
dont give them more power than they deserve.. here's why i say that, and i point this to those of you still in the congregation, still trying to decide what you want to do.. recently, our family had a little family reunion gathering of sorts, and we were in the company of some extended family that were either df or da, to varying degrees.
we made it very clear, to any and all in attendance, that we wanted to be respectful and kind, despite any previous perceptions about our "status".... and that our feelings on a lot of things had "softened", and "changed" over the last 2 years.. i am being purposefully slightly vague, but i think you get the point.

I would tell the elders to go visit the elderly widows and orphans or the single mom with kids if they have so much time on their hands! -

i am not a jw but at least they don't seem to follow this trend.

Welcome Kabwell,
" I have bibles worth thousands of dollars each." BTW, Mark Sanderson would like to talk to you about your collection.
I agree that you can find a "pagan" origin to many symbols.
