What is the mood in the Kingdom Halls nowadays?
by JH inwhen i used to go the meetings in the late 80's, the mood was good, knowing that the end was close.
later on in the 90's while i still attended once in a while, people were starting to be less zealous and were starting to put their needs before those of the kingdoms.
people started to buy houses, instead of living in apartements, they were buying nicer cars, taking vacations far away, and mostly, the women started to work, to help pay for the better life style they were living.

there are a**holes everywhere wether in the "truth" or not and everyone has bad days. i'm sorry u and ur friend had a bad experience here, even if i dont know which thread you are talking about. web forums are an interesting community, i have at times felt like my posts were ignored or whatever and for some reason it makes me feel bad even. its weird i think its so easy to get to know people on a place like this, especially those that post quite a bit that when people dont respond the same way to you as they do to say Vivamus, for instance, its easy to take that personally. anyways that is my run-on sentence, confusing, slightly off topic rant. i think sociologist should do studies of web communities. it really is fascinating from an academic perspective.

they are having a discussion because someone during door-to-door service confronted them with the un letter.
they are all saying that it is "obviously made up"... but the person is planning on writing to the society to ask.
