should a female publisher wear a headcovering if she is accompanied by a male publisher at a door step bible study?

when a female publisher conducts a regular ,scheduled bible study and a male kingdom publisher is present, she should wear a head covering.(1cor.

11:3-10)the july 15, 2002 issue of the watchtower, page 27, explains: this is a pre arranged session of teaching where the one conducting the study actually presides.

Funny thing about that headcovering thing...This weeks KM Bible Highlights are: 1Cor. 10-16...read this: This is from the Good News Bible...This is from 1 Cor. 11: 13-16: 13 Judge for yourselves whether it is proper for a woman to pray to God in public worship with nothing on her head. 14 Why, nature itself teaches you that long hair on a man is a disgrace, 15 but on a woman it is a thing of beauty. Her long hair has been given her to serve as a covering. 16 But if anyone wants to argue about it, all I have to say is that neither we nor the churches of God have any other custom in worship. now from the NWT.. Judge for ? YOUR ? own selves: Is it fitting for a woman to pray uncovered to God? 14 Does not nature itself teach ? YOU ? that if a man has long hair, it is a dishonor to him; 15 but if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her? Because her hair is given her instead of a headdress. 16 However, if any man seems to dispute for some other custom, we have no other, neither do the congregations of God. So we see here, that to judge for ourselves...but see here they are saying the samething... a woman's hair serves as a covering. N'est pas ?

Not sure where it is but women are not supposed to speak in the church, if we want to say something, we got to go home & tell it to the hubby. Now that I don't mind, I wouldn't have to come up with comments all the time, & no demo's/talks...that would suit me just fine, just come to the meetings & listen...Awwwwww...why don't the org. follow that rule..Huh ?

Exactly what I've been saying..After reading the entire article...what stood out to me was....The FDS has not been appointed as of yet, so who has been feeding us Spiritual Food...nobody seems to see that point...which to me is the most important point of the article.... A sister said they were chosen in 33 CE...so how does that interpret that they Org. was chosen...I think folks know this but it really scares them..now they are thinking, Yeah, who has been feeding us...

I already know how the ORG. works, they have misunderstandings, then hide behind the saying...like all JW's..."Well, we're imperfect"...that's not an excuse..when folks have been questioning some of this stuff for a long time & the org. just decided to ignore it because of their pride & not wanting to be wrong. The org. is like any big business, & once you get that...you no longer will be surprised at any of the new light....Just accept that many timesthey read into the scriptures things that are not there..Just to sound more intelligent than most.

Think about the wheat & weeds or whatever, that could also apply to being disfellowshipped...they asked Jesus should we get rid of the weeds & he says no let the wheat & weeds grow together & maybe the wheat will rub off on the weeds & encourage them, & if you get rid of some of the weeds, you might take up the wheat by mistake....so if any of us get DF'd...we could leave the brothers with that scripture...Oh yeah, you'll still be DF'd but you'll leave them something to think about...

We don't have a FDS at the moment...a bunch of old men just making stuff up..

the great tribulation and beyond.. but the article says, the fds will not come until after the un will attack christendom, jehovah will cut short the attack on false religion; god's people will be saved, then...jesus will judge people of all nations as sheep or goats, then.....jesus will appoint the faithful slave over "all his belongings ....so, have the fds been appointed as of yet & if not who has been given the congregation the spiritual food upto now...i'm confused...no i'm not..i do understand...i think a bunch of guys been feeding us.... i spoke to one of the sisters & she said, that jesus will appoint the slaves & give them additional duties...uh ?

Here is the real point....In 1919 as the Faithful Discreet Slave after Jesus made a dilligent search from 1914-1918 of all religions claiming to be christians & viola, it was the witnesses...so he left them in charge of feeding the flock the spiritual food...so....this is the real meat....if Jesus didn't come back, YET... & didn't inspect all religions...YET...who has been giving the spiritual food to the flock ...THE FDS Class...ok, is everyone with me..but who authorized them to give the food...this seems to be the real question...I think we are all afraid to say...a bunch of self appointed old men appointed themselves...that's what is scaring everyone...to say, OMG, who has really been feeding us ? Someone on this site said something or other but the article clearly stated....Jesus did not come back YET....& he didn't appoint any religion to do nothing...I told that to one of the friends & she got so flabbergasted, I thought she would pass out...That's what I'm taking out of the entire article...that Jesus has not returned, visibly or invisibly. Nothing has taken place as of yet...whether the slave is taking care of some things or all things...Jesus hasn't come ...YET..I'm not making this stuff up, it's what I read...

I really think folks have egg on their face because everyone wants to be chosen by God to be his special people...they have run around for years telling everyone that they are the truth, then those same doors that they use to knock on now they have to eat crow, because it's not true anymore. & we all know how emphatic witnesses are, when you tell them something & they feel it's against what they know as the truth, they get this glaze over their eyes & a line comes between their brows & you are about to get it... So it may be more about embarrasement then anything else..My KH yesterday, not too many hands...some trying to act like they were not dumb founded...like they are moving with the chariot..but believe me...this article rocked their world...Not me, cuz I know Man...they always want to know & when we put our little sticky fingers in matters, it's never the same...

Now most are thinking even if the don't say it...."WHO HAS BEEN FEEDING US ALL THE WHILE, IF JESUS AIN'T COME BACK YET"..

Hi, The WT article says this...(copy & paste) In the verses that lead up to Matthew 24:46, the word “coming” refers consistently to the time when Jesus comes to pronounce and execute judgment during the great tribulation. (Matt. 24:30, 42, 44) Also, as we considered in paragraph 12, Jesus’ ‘arriving’ mentioned at Matthew 25:31 refers to that same future time of judgment. So it is reasonable to conclude that Jesus’ arrival to appoint the faithful slave over all his belongings, mentioned at Matthew 24: 46, 47, also applies to his future coming, during the great tribulation.[6] Indeed, a consideration of Jesus’ prophecy in its entirety makes it clear that each of these eight references to his coming applies to the future time of judgment during the great tribulation. Finally, we examined why Jesus’ arrival to appoint the faithful slave over all his belongings did not occur in 1919 but will take place during the great tribulation. See this last paragraph, it says...they were not appointed in 1919...We all know that the FDS is just a parable that the ORG., painted themselves into...This is a big deal, because we are told that we are being fed spiritually by the FDS...there is no where that says, there are 2 sets of FDS's... That's why Jesus didn't have any off springs...most of the witnesses would swear up & down that they are the remnant offspring of Jesus... Sunday....tick tick tick...just 2 days away...Wonder how they are going to spin this one..too bad the meetings are not a question & answer session..weee doggie...that would be a mess.. Legacy

Hi, 1914 was supposed to be the understanding of The Great Tribulation began in 1914 with World War 1..this is from the WT. There is more, but no need to elaborate. They won't care, because it assures them that no matter what hardships they may face, Jehovah's people will come out of the great tribulation...Don't they know God ain't partial.. I know this won't make a bit of difference to any of them & if it does, they'll all have the poker face...smiling, all the while saying...I've been running 'round saying I know 1914 is true. They would bet their life on it...now what ?

It will be very interesting.....some will leave & the majority will stay...Me...I just sit & listen. They don't know no more than Jesus knows...Jesus don't even know when the end is...so maybe just maybe, Jehovah will never let man make the call for when the end is...maybe when the ORG. stops predicting is when Jehovah will usher in the end...because if man calls it, there would be no living with them ( or at least til they die) they would be sticking out their chest saying.."I told yawl so"....Remember, God is not partial...

To All, All I can say is this organization is better than teflon. Nothing sticks to them. I agree with who ever said, they don't care. If millions are still there what do they care about one person. Don't you think they know this already. It's the power that they are drunk with. The power to run individuals lives. It can be intoxicating. I have mentioned before if most controversies have been exposed but not the ORG. is God really on their side. I have never seen anything like it...everything in the ORG., is common knowledge, the internet is full to the brim of folks seeing through them, yet they still exist. When Clinton had his little affair, when the Pope stepped down, when the clergy was messing around with little children, must I go on...The Catholics have way more $$ than the ORG., how is it their PR dept. couldn't keep them out of the media..Makes one think.. Or...Is God confusing the ORG. so that many will just leave... Take Care, Legacy

tonight on the service meeting we discussed why jws are not false prophets.

of the ten minute part two were spent discussing that jws just had wrong expectations and only very minor changes over the years although nothing specific was mentioned.

the other eight focused on the core bible truths that have remained the same over the years.

Does the WT, agree that Jerusalem was destroyed in 586 BC ? or are they sticking to the 607 BC ?
