Now you know it's all about the #'s, don't you ? I would say Jehovah is merciful, he hasn't exposed the Society as of yet. They seem to be still going around & around....Never saw a religion, that has never been exposed....Yes, Jehovah is merciful. If Jehovah is going to end this whole system, he's not going to let man predict it so they'll take the credit...

That's all they see is the negative. They miss the here & now. Most of them don't have a positive outlook in the first place. But, if you sound negative then they will say, don't be so negative...we serve a happy God. We are told the end is around the corner, so don't get all crazy about material things. Yet most of them have beautiful homes, cars, etc. But when you want to buy they say, keep it simple. Then try this...say you are thinking of buying some new stuff for your place...but thought better of it because the society says the end is right around the corner, so, it's best not to buy too much, won't have time to enjoy it, because the end is near....Then you know what they'll reply....But you should enjoy....UH ? All you are doing is repeating what is said from the stage, assemblies & conventions...I find when you feed them back their own lines, they don't take it too well.
Sometimes when I talk to one of them, & they start talking about God's Kingdom & it will be soon, because see the world is a terrible place. That's when I chime in that some folks just had a healthy baby, someone just got a good news from the drs. office, someone is getting married today, children are bringing home good grades, they even cleaned their room today...Beautiful flowers are growing all over the place, etc...then the sister or brother gets quiet. Most witnesses have a whinney personality, they will never be happy, because they never were happy. Ever go out in service....all they talk about is how long they can't stay because of this ailment or that ailment...even if we go into apt. buildings, they can't take the smell, so they begin to get faint then have to go...Drama...

I just turned 61, I've been here on earth longer than I have left. But I love being older....I don't care what others think...not even other JW's. I do what I can & do what I have to do. I hope to retire at 65....but you know how it goes...you make plans & God laughs....The generation gap is getting to me...I'm more of a mama at the job than a employee....Most young'ins love older folks at the job, they think they are cooler, but they aren't. Us older ones at the job, just look at the young'in and say....JUST KEEP LIVING...YOU'LL FIND OUT...

I'm a witness too...but I know TTATT....I was told, the world hates us...they persecute us....I've been a witness for not too long...but, so far, no persecution...I think most witnesses have a persecuted personality. They feel very privilege, but the world really don't give a hoot about them, & that is the problem right there. I've been at meetings & someone may say something to me & another sister will come up & say, did she say something about me ? Believe me most of the stuff is in their heads. I've read the message & the brother feels he is in the right place, so leave him to his own devices. The question is why is he on this site..ummmm, now that's the real question. I know why I'm here. TTATT & to vent.
Maybe he's trying to convince himself he's in the right place. So he sent this letter not for on lookers but to convince himself...I do believe in Jehovah's org. I do believe in Jehovah's org ( to get the feel of how he chants this...just remember the lion from the Wizard of Oz...I do believe in spooks, I do believe in spooks).

i had listened to the degrading talk by gb heard (on women) & watched a video on evie bklyn channel & there was alot of interesting questions that are raised.. i had always wondered why can't women in the hall handle mics or run magazine counter etc.?
but they (if annointed) will rule in heaven with jesus.
that is a pretty heavy responsibility to help jesus rule millions of people on earth, but yet they can't pass a mic or even run the sound system in the kh.

I'm a witness, I'm going to do what they tell us to do...Give answers from the bible so folks won't think it's your idea. Gal. 3:28-29 & Col. 3:11...There is no division among followers of Christ. So, that's why women in the Org. can't teach, because they are not followers of Christ or in union with him, they only imitate Christ & use his name in comments that they should imitate him.
Funny, how you could use the bible against their own doctrine, but not in this communistic religion....you have to come on a web-site like this one to find out...You are not crazy.

we skip the meeting and go straight to lunch and margaritas.
she converted later in life and has been a jw for over 25 years.. she is in her late 70's and has had heart problems.
@ Designs, Apparently some do need to be told. Just look how folks treat one another...some folks are just good & some folks aren't. Some folks grown up in family where being good wasn't taught. I agree a book shouldn't have to tell you to be good, if you live by the golden rule, but some interpret that to mean do do unto others as they would do unto you....so if someone steps on their foot, they think the golden rule means...step back on their foot. I tend to think many of the witnesses were not raised a certain way...something was lacking in their family structure....if we have to be constantly reminded to be good....that speaks volumes. I know I was raised a certain way, so the literature is immature to me. I sit there at the meetings & say to myself, wow, they don't know this....so I tend to zone out. I have alot of comments but they would be more condeming than helpful. So maybe some do need a book to act good....a thought, you don't have to teach a child to lie but you have to teach them not to.

It's called suppression. If you have to swallow all this info. from the org. your body will turn on you. I go out in service & you have to hear all the ailments. We talk more about what's ailing us then scriptures. No one will admit it, but they are seeing TTATT, but don't want to blow their cover so they ...SUPPRESS... I do, but I also come on this site to UN-SUPPRESS...You see the truth lead me to the TRUTH. If you can navigate your way through all the WT propoganda, you'll see the truth. The Bible is all about life lessons, how to treat your fellow man...do not think too much of yourself, be bold yet humble enough that even something as simple as standing on line & you have alot of groceries & the person behind only has a few items, what's the harm in letting them go before you, giving up your seat on public transportation, giving your umbrella to someone in the rain, especially if you are close to home, not thinking selfishly, not thinking the world revolves around you, money will not buy happiness, it will provide comfort, but that's all & it may extend your life a little longer because you can afford the doctors, but when it's your time....it's your time. The bible helps one to live an unselfish life & not take advantage of people. Don't take man's doctrines too seriously....Man picks the bible apart. If I had to some up the bible...it's BE READY & BE GOOD..
Thank goodness for web-sites like these, it lets one know, they are not the only ones who see & hear things that are not true..if ones are ok with being at the hall, web-sites help those who are in, not to think they are crazy. You can go to any place of worship & raise an eyebrow....Man can't even direct his own steps....so why listen to him.
